The reason orochimaru had to resummon the hokage was because all of their souls were sealed away. That aside, it seems like a reasonable assuption he could resummon them.
I think that with a little good faith you understand what he means. Orochimaru when fighting the third did not do the ritual on the roof he had already done it and could now resuming it. Or when kabuto showed photo the akatsuki reanimated he specifically did not have to do the ritual there and then he had already done it and just reaummoned them. That why obito wants to see how it works.
Alive Tobi could probably resuming if we are assuming it’s on similar level or works the same but one you die I would accept the argument that you lose that connection or whatever so that the ritual has to be done again
@@Jerrkolino Yeah I agree with both of you. Tobirama should be able to re summon his old edo’s. I doubt he would in battle because of morals. He doesn’t like using that jutsu. Six is obviously a bit bias because he’s cool with Swag. Orochimaru had to use the white zetsu corpses because all their souls were sealed inside the reaper death belly. It required specific requirements to summon them back to the world of the living.
I think tobi wouldn't be able to summon them. Kabuto and Orochimaru were able to summon them because after they did the jutsu they just store the edos some where so they can summon them again. Like wise tobi likely released his edos since he thought it was moral for them to exist in the first place.
That is just Six making an argument from a dishonest place to try to protect the guy he leeches clout from.

Six, what the guy meant about Tobirama using Edo is true. Edo is able to be used after one ritual but the only exception was the Hokage that were in the Reaper Death Seal. You seem to have had a brain fart on that one lol

Yeah. I think he was misunderstanding what the guy was saying. Tobirama summoning Edo would be like how Orochimaru did him and his brother against Hiruzen. It would take some concentration like with Orochimaru but that's how it would work. Once a person is revived, they can be summoned anywhere. It just needs a lot of prep before the battle.

It's possible that once a Reanimation is no longer inside the coffin it can't be placed back inside, and requires releasing the jutsu and repeating the process from the start. We've never seen a reanimation that once out of the coffin be placed right back inside it.

He might be right on the “you don’t have to do the reanimation jutsu prep over and over”. Orochimaru had to do it again bc his edo summons got sealed by the reaper. Kabuto revives a bunch of ninja in front of Obito and then you never see him do it again. He just kinda sprouts them outta the ground whenever he wants. It’d be kinda dumb if Kabuto revived them, showed them to Obito, and then had to do the whole ritual again for all of them before the war bc they are only good for 1 appearance lmao.
The Kinkaku force thing is a high point of contention, but it should absolutely not be an anti-feat. I always assumed the Kinkaku force was Gin and Kin's squad, as I assume they had more people than just themselves against the Cloud. It would make no sense for those two alone to be called a "coup". A very small rebellion, maybe, but a coup would have more people. So if the Kinkaku force were with Ginkaku and Kinkaku, that would make them a particularly big threat (not to mention that I doubt a group from the Cloud would chase the HOKAGE THEY WERE TRYING TO NEGOTIATE WITH, so I really doubt it's a group meant to take out Ginkaku and Kinkaku), certainly enough to chase after Tobirama and his squad, which included Hiruzen, Danzo, and an Uchiha whom Shisui considered superior to himself. But even if I'm wrong, they were still chasing said group, and most importantly, Tobirama knew for certain that he wouldn survive, which is when he made Hiruzen the Third Hokage. He sensed like 20 ninjas, knew who they were, and knew he would die. For those 20 ninjas, regardless of whether they included Ginkaku and Kinkaku, to accomplish that much against that particular group, is impressive. As a result, it's hard to say it's an anti-feat for Tobirama to die to that group, that's basically fighting the Akatsuki x2.
I thought that edo could be resummoned if they aren’t sealed after use. Like if tobirama calls back his edo after a fight and they aren’t sealed they should be spammable
Can you even resummon edo tensei after they are actually summoned. We never even see such a thing happen. Otherwise why wouldn't Orochimaru unsummon the 1st and 2nd hokage when Hiruzen was trying to seal them away or Kabuto unsummon his reanimations that were about to get sealed then resummon them, unless it's not actually possible. It's not like all of the sealings even happened all that quickly. Why didn't they just unsummon them before they could get sealed and then resummon them.
The Kinkaku force was so strong that they had Tobirama, Hiruzen and Danzo running away to save their own lives. That’s 3 Kage level ninja.
It’s safe to assume the Kinkaku force has a similar if not a greater platoon of ninja with them. If they didn’t then there would be no reason to flee from them, let alone someone die to avoid fighting them all.
Like six said, it’s probably just a group of strong ass regular cloud shinobi. Kinkaku and Ginkaku were rogue shinobi who were AGAINST their own village so it’s pretty unlikely that they were a part of the force. None of them were reanimated. Not a single one was given a name. We don’t know every powerful ninja, sure, but not a single one took the credit for killing Tobirama. Also, imagin Minato in that fight, with his Kunai, he wouldn’t even be able to be touched.

We have no clue if reanimation can even even be used twice. Once a reanimation is actually summoned and out of the coffin we don't know if they can just be replaced in the coffin, for all we know the only way to unsummon them is to release the jutsu in which case the process needs to be done all over again.
Kabuto could resummon Edos basically at will. He summoned Edo Akatsuki and Edo Madara multiple times and had Edo Deidora had multiple instances of combat
It’s more so once they are spent(sealed or otherwise destroyed) you need to go through the process of rebinding their soul back to sacrificial body, ie Kabuto kept madara’s prepared body in the coffin until “spending him” in the war, orichamaru “spent” his edos of the first and second hokage against the third and had to go and reacquire their souls to put them in new bodies/ lost the prepared bodies while “dead”
But that’s with an extremely advanced version of Tobirama’s Reanimatiom

The reason Orochimaru had to sacrifice the white Zetsu during the war arc is because his initial edo jutsu was undon by Hiruzen's reaper death seal.

You’re forgetting that the edo tensie were sealed inside the belly of the reaper. Because they were sealed he had to resume on them. If the edo tensei is never sealed or undone orochimaru and kabuto do resummon them at will after the first time he does it. They only never resummon an edo tensei after doing the jutsu is because it was sealed away but they are shown to to be able to summon and summon them back and forth

The last thing tobirama did before being brought back as an edo was die. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have 2 random edos he can just summon since he probably would've used all his edos in his fight with the kinkaku force.
@@Tian113 we don’t know if a edo can summon a edo though and it wouldn’t really make sense for him to be able to and even if he could he was dead for a very long time so it’s possible he didn’t have anything to summon anymore. And him using all of them in against the kinkaku force is head canon. All we know is he has used edo and edo techniques mid battle. So in a vs battle we should give him some

Hiruzen should know that Hashirama captured each tailed beast presumably by himself, and that Minato died while fighting Kurama. Hiruzen should also know that Hashirama defeated Kurama alongside Madara.
We can’t seriously be expected to believe Hiruzens implications about Minato being the strongest can be taken seriously. He knows Hashirama is stronger by miles than Minato, unless you think Hiruzen knows nothing about how strong the 1st Hokage is. The statement made by Raikage A isn't hyperbolic because he literally explains why he feels that way. Hiruzen's statement is hyperbolic because it can be interpreted a million ways, we don't know if he meant the Third Hokage, or the Third Person. also its completely resonable for him to want to stop it from being a 4 v 1 fight with a someone who can teleport him away from the village.
The edo tensai points are strange. Orichimaru perfromed a ritual to release the reaper death seal and the hokage souls. he did not reprep the bodies or use a ritual to use edo tensai. it can be surmised that we've seen 3 versions of edo tensai with varying power levels. Oro's regular, Kabuto's perfect, and Oro's perfect edo tech's are all shown to bring back people at different levels. The threshold ive seen are generally about 30%, 70%, 80%+.\

I would like to point out on the Edo Tensei thing that Orochimaru had to do the ritual again Because those 4 hokage were trapped in the reaper death seal and orochimaru had to make a special ritual to unseal them so he could summon them again. But got to admit at the beginning of the video this guy had us with some reasonable points but it quickly devolved into straw men and power scaling bs at the end.
Maybe Orochimaru had to resummon the Hokage again cause technically after the first time he did it, they were trapped in the Reapers belly. Idk if it's ever explained anywhere that if that wasn't the case, he could summon them whenever. Cause the Reaper death seal confiscates souls so it makes sense that even if the reanimation jutsu allowed you to resummon souls you already used, if the reaper has hold of them you have to get them out first.
Isn't that why Kabuto couldn't use the 4 Hokage during the war and then Orochi had to use the death reaper seal release jutsu that Suigetsu found and gave Sasuke right after the whole Itachi Izanami bs with Kabuto?

If tobirama died with edo tensei summons that were never sealed or dispelled he should be able to summon them with no additional ritual required.
however considering he didnt summon any in the story when they would have been potentially advantagious theres a good chance he doesnt have any available to summon and likely would have to undergo the ritual and sacrifice again for more edos.
As we have no definative answer (although the new ritual arguement is stronger IMO) then taking a stance on either side on if tobirama can use edo without a ritual means making assumptions & employing headcannon and i have to agree swag and seth are being biased in presenting just that one side with no ambiguity
