There are some people out there who have a sick, hateful and warped mind, or they just don't consider the consequences of their actions. What they thought was a joke or a prank was not funny and could have resulted in a serious situation. I'm glad you found out about it and hope you and Ms. Wanda find the culprit who, if given the chance; may ultimately do worse to someone else, even if they didn't intend for it to be anything but a joke, they put you and your homestead in potential danger. You and Ms Wanda bring so much valuable information and joy to so many people. I couldn't blame you if you decided to shut down and stop sharing your life and knowledge with the YT community, but the help, inspiration and enjoyment you bring to those of us who glean from your wealth of knowledge and skills is priceless. Thank you both for what you do and the time you invest sharing part of your life with us.

'You asked for it' is a pretty poor attitude to take and you blatantly do not understand the ramifications of having your private land falsely registered on some commie co-op b.s. list. We still maintain a right to own private property although we remain under slavery taxation on that land... pay land tax to gov or lose it. I question if you own land?
Lastly, the pink panther you certainly are not. The first thing that sprang to my mind is the culprit is someone very close to home as in possibly family and the motivation is very clearly jealousy in my eyes akin to the motivation of your comment.

I thank you guys for all you do. You have help me so much. I thought you could just put a sweet in the ground and it would grow nice size potatoes, NOT. I watch what you did and I had sweet potato casserole this pass Sunday for dinner. I don't have a huge yard, so I grew them in containers. You bless me by sharing what you are doing. I have had so many things told on me and done to me over the years and you wonder why. I was taught if you can't do good do nothing at all. I just wonder what motive someone could have for doing that. I told a young man just the other day that was so hurt because of something that was told on him and all I could say to him is some people just do that and what I say if someone does that to you just let it be a lie. Glad you found out quickly and pray they find who did this. We appreciate you very much for sharing your knowledge. I list my Dad September 2, 2021 to Cancer, list my Brother September 7th just 5 days later. Then my mom in Feb on 27th. Mean while through this our youngest daughter developed breast cancer and to date has had all her Chemo and Radiation, had bilateral mastectomy and is waiting for final reconstruction to be completed. So Danny I can't ask Dad anymore things of Farming when to plant or just call on the phone. You are there for many who look to you for guidance.
My husband has learned a lot from dad as well. We thank you for sharing because there are so many who to you.

As a person who is putting ducks in a row to share their small town homesteading journey with their community (and social media) this is quite sobering. Thank you so much for keeping the community in the loop with all concerns. Honesty and transparency is important, but I have small children I would absolutely go Mama Bear to protect. I have found this love, in part, from you and Wanda. I follow you, Roots and Refuge, 1870s homestead, and a few more smaller local channels. Thank you for putting yourselves out there and helping me (and so many others) learn from the lives you are sharing with us.
Danny this is an example of how distant and sick people are and what is coming. We do our little simple channel to help people garden and preserve. We watch you and Wanda so we can learn and fellowship. We've been gardening in Texas for 30 years and we still are learning and growing. We are believers and we like being a part of yawls life. I started off in an apartment and now have my own small Homestead that I continue to work on developing to be as sustainable as possible. I'll never understand why people do some of the things they do. I recently told a friend who works for the USDA (and I have quite a few) that it's not THEM that is the problem, it's the people at the top (in government) that I don't trust. There a lot of wonderful people who do the daily within government that work hard and are amazing folks. Hope you guys find out who this is and prosecute them. Love ya'll

When I saw that sign in the carrot bed, my insides went nervous. My first thought was that things could get taken out of context -- I even started an email to Deep South about my concerns and had second thoughts. Now I'm kicking myself for not hitting that 'send button' . The older I get, the less I trust and am very careful about what is seen around the property. We are not homesteaders and are strong preppers. Be careful everyone and always remember that what you think is just an innocent thing can be taken completely the wrong way. So glad that Danny and Wanda reacted quickly and may the culprit learn that this community is strong and walk in unison with each other.

I hope you find who did this and don't hesitate to prosecute. They may do this to others. I don't think this is an innocent prank.
Think the usda may have started a program for public gardens. Paying a couple of hundred bucks an acre for towns to have public gardens. Ohio town, I live near, was putting putting good dirt in place for public gardens next year. They would not be doing this unless the costs were recouped some way..... usda check direct deposit to the routing numbers.
It is a sad day when this happens to good people like you two. I am so glad you are going to pursue this, and I pray you (and the government) find out who is doing this.
