Since your last Muscovy duck video, I met two in a park. They were hanging out like a couple, and got closer to me than any regular ducks ever would (in a curious and friendly sort of way). The male almost let me pet him. Before I thought they were gross and mean looking but now I'm rather fond of them.
They are common in my area. Some consider them pests. No Muscovy has ever tried to burglarize my house or run me over or throw trash in my yard. Good neighbors overall.
Muscovey ducks are very easy to domesticate, and can be super friendly. Apart from being excellent for eating their eggs are super great for baking and eating. The eggs are rich and superb for making sponges. There is no need to separate the whites from the yoke, simply add the sugar and whip away until thick then do the normal sponge.
@@vladimirpopovic8136im getting 2 muscovy ducklings in 8 days, the duckling are 6 days old and they need to be two weeks old, im also gettung chicklets 🐤 and theyre coming in 7 days

Great video! A friend of mine acquired a pair and was asking for help to place them in his property, this video came like a blessing!

You must be in South FL lol they are all over here
@@jodykatana Yes. Not as many as before 2021, though.
@@TUKByV Yeah I noticed that. I wonder why that is
@@jodykatana I have no information. I suspect some city governments may be culling them from parks.
Thank you for sharing this . I'm adopting some muscovy to my homestead

Excellent video, thank you.
Can they be allowed to run loose in garden to eat snails? Do they eat garden plants like a chicken would?
They are omnivores, they will eat snails and vegetables. They like to eat grass
