    This was Nehru's last republic day parade in Jan 1964. He died exactly 4 months later.
    China has just thoroughly defeated India barely 2 years ago and annexed huge chunks of land, because of Nehru's follies this embarrassing defeat will be with India for many years on its memory. Pak would attack India as well next year in 1965 and that war would end in a stalemate.
