your content is so badass man, i love al the camera angles you are able to get with the 360 camera aswell. keep up the good work you have been growing in subs a lot good job
Thanks a lot man…I really really appreciate the kind words. It’s comments like these that add fuel to my fire 🔥 🤘🏼🤘🏼
You're killin' it with this one buddy 👍🏻 @@TheOutdoorConquest
Raise your hand if you’ve been out on the ice on an E Bike!!! Oh pulling a sled with all the fishing gear as well!! Well done good sir!
Thanks a lot for checking it out!
How do you keep your e-bike battery from draining in the cold?
@ I’m just gonna take a shot in the dark here and say batteries have come along way and quite possibly designed with the thought that folks might not just be using their product in fair weather. With that in mind I can understand your concern about the possibility of battery failure as you may have the same concern with say your own vehicles battery. In this case one could only assume if the batteries failed he would have to get back in the way anyone else got out…. Walk…. Or use the bikes on board pedals. With all that said I am looking forward to his review and full specs of this E Bike.
@@motgnay7065 lithium batteries don’t normally just drain out in the cold. The bike uses very limited power to crawl across the ice…I maxed out my speed at 10mph and it will go over 20mph. If I had a fear of it draining from cold I would take it off and bring it in the shanty and keep it warm.
You’re a BEAST BRO!! Love the video 🙌🏼
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
You da man lucas!!! I wouldnt be caught dead with out a beaded spoon fishing for perch. Here some history for those who care. The beaded spoons were invented on saginaw bay evolved from orignal jak and russian hooks. It simulates a perch eye o
(Old school bait) Idk if you realize all the spoon makers live on saginaw bay. When they wont hit the bead put a spike on it. Thanks for the awesome content
I love hearing all the history on the gear, thanks for sharing! I appreciate ya watching too! Thanks a lot!🤘🏼
Great stuff out there bro. That e-bike is 🔥 and you guys got on some good fish too 🎣🤟🏾
Thanks bro!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
If you have a live scope you can catch fish anywhere. It makes a decent fisherman a good one. Also changes the definition of a good fisherman.
That’s a great opinion for sure. I use it to make the most of my limited time outdoors….kind of like why people buy zero turn lawn mowers rather than a standard rider or push mower….they’re utilizing their time…..that’s what I do with Livescope.
Great video. I like the back and forth style of these videos.
A little different format but I like incorporating these from time to time. Hopefully we can get out soon!
The Walled Lake derby isnt worth it. Ive lived on that Lake my whole life, its a rip off, no one ever wins except the people who hold it. That lake is basically fishless.
Yeah I think I’m out man
I start doing the “voice” and then I start talking about sizes 😂
…bro, thanks for clarifying to the world that I wasn’t talking about my unit.
@@TheMichiganFisherman 🤔🤣
Yeah I almost just cut all that info out man 🤣🤣
🤣🤣
@TheMichiganFisherman yeah, yeah, B 🙄. 🤣😂🤣
You were totally talking about a "unit" 😂😆 ☝🏻 ☝🏻
My dude got a E bike 😂 lets go Lucas 🍻
I’m loving it dude!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Your information is outstanding, I like that you always talk about being safe, great vid brother!! keep them coming.
Thanks YOOP!!! Hope all is well in the North!
Dave Genz started the E-bike thing a couple years ago. We require a solid hitch for towing here in Ontario and pull shanty and the gear. Great if the ice isn"t thick enough for a machine. Always bring the battery in the shanty, it doesn't hurt. It is a game changer for sure like FFS.
Very nice! He’s a popular dude in ice fishing for sure. Thanks for watching!
Cool video. The evolution of ice fishing continues
Thanks for watching! Evolving will forever be a thing for sure!
Thanks for the tips priceless info imo.🍻
Glad I could help!
Yes sir! Incredible idea!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
B got a nice size one 🙌 good job, fellas 🤘
Appreciate it!!
we fish Simcoe and use slab grabbers, Guster spoons .. we tip them with red spikes. we also have had good luck on custom jig demon drops # 4 & 6. tip them with red spike...they actually work better than the slab grabbers especially when they have lock jaw
That lock jaw can be difficult to deal with for sure. I’ve been out on the Saginaw bay many of times and marked dozens of walleye but not a single bite….and the next day they can easily fire up. Thanks a lot for watching. I might have to come make a run to simcoe this year it’s been a minute!
I second the guster spoons
@ 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I saw you drive past me this past weekend. Never seen anyone on a E bike on the ice before…. Nice fish! We did pretty good also
Thanks a lot for checking the video out! I honestly was impressed with how the bike worked out. Looking forward to getting back out there too!
Reminds me of a time I took my minibike 7 miles out onto the Saginaw Bay pulling my brother in the sled behind me. We ended up regretting that we had 35-45 mph gusts and a froze our butts off. Did get a couple Jumbos tho say maybe worth it lol
That sounds like an adventure to remember!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Metros been pretty good. I'll be back out Sunday. I'll be looking for a dude on an e bike lol. That mile walk on foot with all the gear sucks. I kept the quad at home. I found open water out there slightly to the right off the daysail.
I might be out there Sunday….looking more like possibly Saturday afternoon but maybe I’ll try the morning bite on Sunday. I just hate riding any machine of the ice in the dark….good luck out there and thanks for watching!
Thanks man
Hey thanks for checking the video out I appreciate it!🤘🏼🤘🏼

Sick bike!
Thanks bro! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great idea with the e bike , subscribed!
@@SteveScarpaci thanks a lot! I appreciate it!!🤘🏼
Great information man.! I’ve heard those dinner bells are legit.!!
@@RaymondDancer they definitely are legit and they are tungsten so they’re heavy and drop fast! Thanks for watching buddy!
do your batteries last out in10 to20 degree weather and,how long like to see a more detailed video .i like the idea a lot seeing i cant afford a sled or 4 wheeler
They hold up really well honestly. Whatever the bikes “battery range” is I would cut that in half in cold weather. But keep in mind your not running the bike all that hard or even very fast either so the battery will hold up fine. I plan to do a more detailed breakdown coming soon!
I’ve been thinking about using my all wheel drive fat tire bike for the same thing. I know studding is needed either way and a smitty sled.
@ I linked the studs I use in the description of this video. Thanks for watching!

How thick was the ice out there ????? good video.
Thank you for checking it out! It was around 10”.
I’m curious how thick was the ice there? I was planning on going out there with my sled
It was around 10” on Sunday. People been running machines on it. Just be careful and thanks for watching
I like the drunken minnow. I throw out my minnows. I got an ebike instead of a scooter at my Drs order because my legs are messed up. Thank you
Thanks for watching! The drunken minnows are always nice to have in the freezer for any occasion I promise ya!
Have you ever tried preserved minnows?
Yes and never had much luck to be honest
can you show us how you made your smitty sled
I absolutely will do that! It’s pretty basic but definitely plan to get carried away with it eventually. Thanks a lot for watching!
@@Houghtonlaker11 but just so you know it’s basically some 2x8 as risers…2x4s as the cross supports and 2 old skis. Really simple
What an awesome video 😎

Worked with you on a storm job over the summer!
Nice dude! We had a busy Summer last year. Thanks for watching 🤘🏼

That bike is pretty sweet man..... the older I get, the less I enjoy dragging all my 💩 Hopefully I'll see ya out on St Clair Saturday
I’ll find more uses for it too man I just get sick of dragging gear too and time is always so limited I want to make the most of it
Thats an awesome video. Thank You for the excellent info.
Brings back some great memories of Lake Erie 40 -50 some years ago.
How far are you out there or how far are the shanties?
Id like to maybe stay at my inlaws in Macomb and try make it out there with my wifes lectric fold bike. You think 3 inch fat tires would work with strips? My bike doesn't fold. For the smitty sled I have 4 inch aluminum hand or wheel chair rail from a hospital I demoed. It has the curved end like a ski. You think aluminum would work?
Im from Up North and like you mentioned, there is too much snow for this setup so I have to hump my gear out.
New Sub here.
Thanks a lot it for watching! I think your Smitty sled set up will work fine yes. I’ve seen similar set ups on the ice. You don’t have to get out there very far to get on a perch bite. I don’t think the straps will work for a 3” tire but I’m not 100% sure.
Subscribed to a fellow Michigander.
@@WarmDikNCider hey thanks! I appreciate that! Thanks a lot for watching 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I have an awd bike with studded tires. Planned on taking it out this year, just havent. Do you carry it in the bed, or on a hitch?
I carry it in the bed. This particular bike breaks in half so I can easily fit it in the truck bed with all my gear.
Nice… and I honestly thought my 10-11” perch were kinda small
When the average on the lake is 8-9”…. 10”-14” are hogs. The average smallmouth is 17” if that helps compare sizes? Thanks for watching!
Of course… it’s all relative to your fishing area. I watched my friend catch a perch 17” right next to me and I was floored. Never saw one that big, my largest is 15” or so
How do you keep your e-bike battery from draining in the cold? Cause some fishing trip is a whole days.
It’s a lithium battery so they shouldn’t drain in the cold without being used. You can easily remove them and bring them in the shanty if you want to keep it warm I guess
The other day the only way I could get them to bite was ripping that slab grabber what I thought was way too aggressive.
Sometimes that’s what it takes to fire them up for sure
That bike has to be a game changer
It 100% is!
Yeah but that $4500 can buy a load of perch
@ $4500 for a bike?? Where do you live? Canada? 🤣
Lets gooooo Bryan! haha nice collab! Those bikes are wicked, but up here sadly there would be a small window most of the time to use them. Gets to a point where we got lots of snow on the ice and would get stuck lol. Rippin with the flag is great lol. Nice fishing on those Perchies!
Thanks for watching dude! I love getting out with Bryan when we can. Unfortunately we never get enough ice to drive truck or machines out but I also have limited storage so this works out great!
Raise your hands if you don’t care about an ebike
@@AY-lf6qm I won’t be seeing your hand obviously
