Create your own luck, don't design without context, How to talk or convey design to different sets of people, so much to take in from this podcast. This channel just keeps getting better. Amazing podcast not only for aspiring design student but also for new designers who have just entered the industry. Looking forward to hearing from more industry stalwarts.
Beautifully summarised Rohan. Thanks for all your kind words and compliments. It's our design community and it's support which keeps me going. So, thanks to you 🙏🏼
Observing this dialogue is truly fascinating, and simultaneously, it proves beneficial for individuals contemplating a foray into the field of design. However, it is crucial to acknowledge this reality before delving deeply into it, as self-deception is uncommon, particularly in the context of India.
I would like to ask to if degree is really important or a Designer with really great portfolio will get an opportunity. Evrything is available on internet and passionate peoples are training themselves by self learning. But is the design industry ready to even give them a samll stage beause circumstances are different in everyone's lives.
I will agree with Sumeet here. Things are discipline specific. In several fields like auto design industry, the major employers are big cooperates and their policies only allow people with jobs. It's unfortunate but a fact. Startups are changing this slowly..
Does anyone have any idea, how to become a Design program manager? I have an Engineering degree and currently in Business Development and have a strong interest in Automobile Design.
