This 'add-on' makes the accu-slice an incredible versatile tool. SIS should be commended for bringing out such a great tool. I am thinking of many diverse way to add that 'eye catching' appeal to my projects. Simply wonderful. Craft show vendor will not like me when I present to my customers something so new and interesting.

This product has been discontinued due to the high cost of manufacturing.

A small drawer in between the plywood supports would be useful I think

Why would you not just put a thin piece of sacrificial material behind the stock to prevent the blade from going into the fence?

You could do this if you just wanted to not cut into the fence. However what you really want to do is stop the blade from completely cutting through your board. I prefer to set the stop so that the blade stops 0.10" from cutting completely through the board.

Ok now I see. I thought you were just trying to prevent cutting into the fence. Thanks.
