There was one song I wanted to play at my wedding to dedicate it to my wife...and it was Yanni's “Reflections of Passion.” Fortunately, I was able to bring in a Yamaha CFIII in time for the reception. And with that instrument, I was effortlessly able to fill the room with this beautiful music. It was one of the highlights of my life and a moment my wife (and our invitees) have not forgotten.

When I was 14 years, on the way home from school, there was a record store, and I came across this song while passing by. Without realizing it, I stopped walking and continued to listen. Then I found out whose music it was from the record store clerk.
And I bought a cassette tape to listen to again. Back then, there were only cassette tapes and CDs. I listened and heard again.
As I grew older, I gradually forgot this music. But the RUclips algorithm played "Reflections of Passion". I couldn't do anything for a moment and it was like going back to when I was 14 years.
His orchestration skill is mind blowing.... And the melody that he creates gets straight in to the soul.🙌

When I was 15, I watched a video recording for Yanni's trip to Forbidden City China in 1997. This was the finale and I was stunned without knowing how Yanni was and what the piece of music was called. I went to the bookshops day after day and tried to find out what it was and after a few months, I finally found it in a cassette. I didn't remember the melody, but I knew that was what I had been looking for.
Yanni undoubtedly has composed countless pieces of beautiful music, but if you ask me to nominate one, this is it. It hits the soul without words needed. For numerous nights when I couldn't fall asleep for whatever reasons, I play it, in my recorders, in my CD players, in my computers and now in my mobile phones. Technologies evolve along with the time, but greatness lasts eternally.
