The look on your face when you sit in the car for the first time is a classic. I am really interested in seeing the doors put together, So some extra time on that would be great. Doors are complex and under appreciated...

Great job Jim.!! It is finally looking like a hot rod!!! Can you tell me a bit more about the seat? Is it the upgraded bench seat with leather?
Yes it is the leather upgrade from the factory.
I am curious about the trans tunnel and lack of foot room. Was the tunnel a piece from FFR?
Yes, but you can customize to any size. If you go with manual transmission it will be way smaller than an automatic.
That is looking awesome. I do have one random question though, if I may.
How tall are you? I would love to build one of these, but being 6'6 I am concerned about fitment.
That is a good question for FFR since I know some of there Hot Rod owners used to be in pro sports and tall. If you have a hard top, it will be an issue. If you are looking for leg and foot room, I would suggest finding someone in town or at a show like Barrett and Jackson which FFR is always there with models in person.
Hey Jim, great job. Im about to start my body work on my 33. Question, the door hardware etc.. did you powder coat or just paint? Thanks
The hinges I painted, but only the elbow will show. I am not using a handle. One of the issues you will have and is discussed a little in a future video is when you go to tighten the bolts of the door on to the hinge, it will walk. So you will want to ruff up your paint or Powder in that area.

Yes. Official FFR bench seat in leather.
are you planning to heat and sound shield the trans tunnel and driveshaft tunnel?
Yes and also lizard skin and Upol.
