ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

We recently got the white suit Magneto. Mastermind was announced as well last week, we got a comic book style Mystique and the movie vision one too and I would love to see a green suit Quicksilver!

The Fire effect of Pyro can be put on the tubes on his arms !
The fire effect are a new sculpt. The pointy side are more longer and thinner than before so you can put it in the holes of the tubes ! I did it on mine and it work great !
I just bought this two pack exclusively for the retro Pyro figure - he's been a favorite character since I was a kid. I used to watch the 90s X-Men show hoping he'd make an appearance. I agree %100 regarding the way this figure decided to showcase his mutant ability... it's like they weren't totally clear about what he does. "Oh, he's yellow & red, has fiery blonde hair & his name is Pyro? So he shoots fire out of his hands. Easy peasy."
Rogue's face seems like a young angry Renee Russo. And I wish Pyro's body is from a spiderman. In comics, he's more lean than a muscular type.
Hasbro...why are the ponytails not rotatable? They would make the poses look more dynamic and could have done a lot to help make these and the Jim Lee Jean head sculpts a bit more exciting.

The coffee stain accessory really puts this 2 pack over the top.
I prefer this look for Rouge just because ponytails are super cute
From the waist down Rogue uses the same parts as the Giant Size Storm from the upcoming two pack, the hole in her back is where Storm's cape plugs in

I can justify the $50 price for the Colossus & Juggernaut pack, even the Wolverine & Hulk one...but I'm not getting it with this set.

Just seriously wondering what the justification would be with over charging. A $39.99 price would be reasonable; along with a glove holdin' hand and a couple new (or at least non Iron Fist) flame effects. Maybe Hasbro's reasoning would be a 'you got to look at the big picture' kinda thing. Some stuff is not gonna be worth it so that other stuff will be worth it.
It was 25% off at Best Buy in recent days. Would've been $37.50 and free shipping. I passed because I didn't want to pay $37.50 for Pyro basically, and a Christmas elf/shitty costume Rogue.

The Demogoblin glider is another nice accessory. Yep. Pyro creating a flaming bird of prey could be nice. Creating a spiraling flame ball. Creating a flaming claw. Something not natural out of flames would have made it a $50 set. I’m waiting for Black Friday sale too.

@crafty gecko I throw mine out. For a while I was keeping portions to sort of scrapbook with the cool art. But it's a lot of extra work for essentially garbage. I hope you're not drowning in boxes, bro!

I have preordered this set and I can't wait for it especially as Pyro is my fav brotherhood character and this is my favourite Rogue look. Pyro should have come with some flamethrower effects

I love this pack, my only gripe is I wish that pyro had more effects. They could have made a Pyro/Avalanche or Pyro/Toad pack, but this still looks great!

Meh. I don’t want to pay $50 for Pyro. I wasn’t looking forward to him because I think the Pizza Spidey buck would have been perfect. After your review I think I could make an exception. I like that the hoses connect to bracelets and not directly to the back of his hand like in the ToyBiz version. Ifi can’t find him I’m going to try a Pizza Spidey upper with Shatterstar lower (thanks for that idea) and ToyBiz gear for a kitbash that comes closer to legendary X-Men artist Paul Michael Smith’s Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe illustration.
Solid review. I'll stick with the Toybiz Pyro for now. This one isnt that big enough of an upgrade to justify spending $50 on the two pack. Maybe if I ever come across Pyro alone for $20-25.
Jus picked this set up. I dig it 😎. For real the Pyro flame fist effect it wack. He needs long flame effect. Would be cool if one of Rogue's open hand was flesh colour 🖐🏻.

Boog ACBA had the flame effects upside down coming out of the wrist tubes, looks better that way.
From what I’ve read online pyro can make his own flames now or at least certain versions of him can idk if it’s actually true but if other mutants can get power upgrades why not him

hey for my x-men team would i get away with using this rouge as a filler i tend too get eather 90s jim lee blue and yellow team but her yellow and green outfit jeaket is too much for my blood . i am tempting too buy the new rouges for filler or this 2 pack one because this is what she looks like now in 2022 her new green outfit

I hope they do an updated rogue from the original look, the old one looks awesome but the eyes are off- I can’t bring myself to paying those aftermarket prices for a ML. On another note; pinless tech is nice and all but you still can’t give us more range on the females tho that blows, if the chicks had the range some of these guys have it’d set the bar highhh

4:54 - Looks perfect to me. We've just gotten accustomed to Legends females having tween bodies, plus the Jim Lee Rogue head is ginormous. Using one of these will fit in much nicer with tiny headed Gambit...at least until Mafex releases their Gambit (and future Rogue).

9:04 - That V cut in the mask is based off their modern look. They throw this one in with a Rogue we don't want (but we'll buy cause of Pyro). Then later they'll come out with a classic Pyro; basically the same but no forehead gap. Kinda like how they did with Electro, except we didn't have to spend $50 on that Space Venom one.

You say we can't have a figure with chest cleavage but Emma Frost (White Queen) and Jean Grey (Black Queen) in the Hellfire Club Set though and we got Disco Dazzler not so long ago.
I think the reason we get the over sexualized look for Emma and Selene ( cOmiC AccUraTe or whatever) is because the box set is not a regular release, but instead a convention exclusive. Similar to the Logan two pack with the bloody claws.

😕 I feel that Hasbro kinda dropped the ball on this one. They should've used the Pizza Spider-Man body mold for Pyro and they should've made some new flame effects for Pyro. Rogue... She wasn't really bad? But, she wasn't really good either? The best thing that I liked about this 2-Pack, was the box and the artwork on it!
This has to be a teaser for the re-release of the Jim Lee Rogue, I hope if they do it, it is in a three pack with the re-release of classic mystique and a new pinless miss marvel.
I bet 3 HasLab Sentinels it will come out via Retro/Vintage Collection Packaging.
