I honestly experience loneliness the more i move onto my own path. As an artist and musician, people come and go in life especially as i grow spiritually and mentally.
Granted at heart, i am an introvert (INFJ here), so i can tolerate being alone in solitude, but over time it does eat into you internally especially for someone like myself with a rare personality typing, i just dont fit in and people these days are way too shallow that i can see right through it.
Finding high quality meaningful friendships is a rarity these days. But overall everything you said in you video is true. Focus on yourself and continue to grow. Thats the best way to deal with it.
The more busy i keep myself trying to grow, the less i have time to be fixated on not having enough friends or attnentioj from others.
Sometimes we gotta be worry free and tap into our inner child at times in life. At least thats my 2 cents.

Hopefully at 40 years old and just now waking up to this it’s not too late for me to find a healthy loving relationship.

Great episode Rob, but do you deal with loneliness due to death? If you would be in a relationship, but due to this it ended unexpectedly!

As someone who lost a best friend of 10 years (he passed away as of Jan this year), I understand the feeling. It hits you unexpectedly when you least expect it.
Especially to someone you are intimately close with. It leaves you with this empty and missing feeling.
It took me over 3 months to overcome this grief and missing feeling but overtime as you take care of yourself and continue to move forward, it will get getter.
The most important thing you can do right now is take care of yourself. I made myself get out outdoors, exercise and cleaned up my diet. I also cleaned my space in my room and re-organized my life pretty much.
Its easy to fall into a rut of despair especially when you're dealing with grief of someone close to you, but you can't neglect yourself. Keep your head high and keep taking care of yourself.
It would what our close ones would want for us to do for ourselves.
