Your tutorial makes it very easy to understand. This has allowed me to figure out wall modifications. Given that there are many different wall types and construction of walls. Thank you.
I always recommend modelling internal/external wall systems separately on professional projects. A few reasons; - their wall heights are nearly always different - stud/brick are not installed as one, so often will be set out/sequenced separately by different contractors. Separating them makes coordinating this easier - you can do a focused masonry/concrete setout plan if required (with studs off) - you require less wall types in your project The only key is to make sure your walls are considered as entire thermal systems in your design (e.g. maybe you need diff insulation for facade vs interior stud wall types)

I wish I could pick up Revit, but I'd prefer to learn it in the field rather than academically. These videos are helping me to make that transition, and I can't thank you enough.
I’m not going to watch this whole thing, but a huge aspect that people don’t know with walls and floors are what those numbers mean inside the layers. If 1 structure is used, then 1 structure in the floor will trim automatically trim to the wall. In Archicad they have an archaic system of 1-66 that does trim priority.
This material is amazing in every way. The strategy of building up your walls as a component makes a lot of sense and saves a lot of work. Great strategy.

Can you do a fireplace, & chimney with single flue. Also a double fireplace to back to back rooms & 2 flues in the chimney with LEAD flashing & chimney tray as it projects through a sloping slate or tile roof. Very popular Irish style home. Michael
I am very happy that I learned everything from you in the program. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I would like to communicate with you is it possible?.
The main issues I had with complex compound wall is that the sweeps don't follow the slope of an attachment to a roof. Or a slope wall made using a void. This is an essential functionality for the use of compound walls.
Hi, if you have a cavity wall construction ie, 110mm brick wall plus 50 cavity [air] and then another 110mm brick wall - the two 110mm brick walls are kept together with a wall tie. The problem is this - when placing a door or window - Revit does not close the cavity. And normal people in construction close the cavity. But, revit wants to keep it open.

Hey, Balkan, could you please assist me in installing the revit Architectural student version. I keep trying many times to reinstall my laptop in some window, but I didn't succeed. For the first time I was able to install easily, but now the student version has expired. And I can't re- install some student version of revit architectural.

Your videos are very nice too. Surely though you would only add the real joint details as Drafting Views or am I missing something?
