When I think underrated I think guys like Pascal Siakam, Eric Bledsoe, Gordon Hayward because they are overshadowed by the stars on their teams. Lillard is far and away the best player on that team and one of the best players in the conference and the NBA, definitely recognized many times by fans and players alike.

He isn't cluch in the slightest ( at least until now) and hasn't been able to lead a team except for 2017 mvp season ( one of the best mvp seasons ever just for an individual). And as far as I am concerned, the most significant thing in nba is being a leader and winning when it matters. However what bothers me is cancelling whar he has succeed. He is the most explosive pg ever ( for me maybe the most explosive player ever) he is a freak of nature , and even though he is stat padding , there are few players who could average a triple double even via stad padding. That has no impact on teams success but it shows his talent. If he was cluch and had rings and fmvps he could be top 3 pg because he would be both hell of an athlete and generally skillfull player along with being a winner
