I met Mr Powell only once and I feel lucky for that. He was one of those people who had that inner something (magnetic) that is seen rarely. I met Mr Powell only once and I feel lucky for that. He was one of those people who had that inner something (magnetic) that is seen rarely. He was very intelligent, understood many languages ( at least 14) and had lived in many countries, understanding different cultures rather than only speculating.
What he said at the time was unpopular with many, but was popular with over 70% of the UK population (according to polls 74%) and has proven to all be true.
Oh how this man deserved a knighthood. Who gets them? The likes of Nick Clegg, Ed Davey and Andrew Stunnell. You really couldn't make it up.
