I was so surprised when Newcastle took their feet off the gas. I just knew that if they continued to do this and sit on 1-0, Liverpool were going to bring Nunez on and try to counter. It was so stupid from Howe. Negative Atletico tactics.
Huge game for Trent, had to take the armband, made the mistake for the goal and had to deal with Gordon going at him on a yellow, great mentality especially as people forget his age

Its always refeshing to see someone who is able to break football down without it being riddled with bias, especially after a brutal loss like that. Respect brother❤
I'm a Liverpool fan. I spent about 65 minutes with my head shaking. Never thought we had a chance. Early goal then sending off - as well as Newcastle being the much better team. When it got to 75 minutes and it was still 1-0, and Liverpool brought Nunez on, a voice in my head said "We could win 2-1 here," I've been watching every video made about it - I'll never forget it.
I felt better about it with every minute of the second half. The subs were brilliant and well timed. keep it at 0-0 through 60 and then slowly start getting more bold and asking more questions. Newcastle was frustrated that they couldn't score, couldn't even generate that many chances. I was hoping for 1-1 but I felt like that was achievable. Once the first goal went in and the way it did (picture perfect shot) then you felt like a win was on. Unbelievable performance.
I was really surprised how late Nunez was brought on, I thought the game was screaming for him pretty much as soon as the red card happened. I guess Klopp just wanted to build the scene for him and really picked the best time, which is what happened. Was really the perfect build up, all the subs played their part. Have to feel for Eddie Howe, no matter how big of an advantage he has, he just can't get a result against Klopp. It just makes you wonder what's going on in his head, to have lost a game from that position and to be totally outclassed by his opposition manager. Brutal, there must be so many mind-games going on in his head when he faces Klopp.
A tweak that was made with that 2+3 in the middle - it wasn't threatening at first, then it became a box 4 with Darwin pushed up and Jota and Salah actually retreating to help control the centre (Szoboszlai and Elliot as holding pair was funny as hell) and being play makers. Salah with another amazing assist. He's been doing it his whole career but it just gets overlooked. Amazing player.
It was an awful.. but important lesson for us (Newcastle). Elite teams find a way to win. Just an absolute shitter it was the second week in a row we had that lesson taught to us. If this video had been made by anyone else, I wouldn't have watched it, but your analysis is always very inciteful and, in the end, was almost like a football therapy session.
As a Liverpool fan, the key takeaway for Newcastle is baby steps. Liverpool didn't become a force overnight. It takes time to build a squad, and if you compare Newcastle squad from 3 years ago to now, its night and day better. Slowly add pieces to the machine and you will get better.
Honestly mate, we've just had your number past couple years. Sometimes you just can't beat a certain team no matter how much goes your way. LFC just cannot beat Real for example
It was hard work watching it again, but this Newcastle team are not the finished article yet. Hopefully a learning experience for us, and we come back stronger from this.
Eddie howe was probably was confused when he saw klopp taking out two defensive players and put elliot and szoboszlai as Pivot he probably felt confident that liverpool will be more easy to break down..klopp played chess by sacrificing the queen for the win
But it wasn't a shambles, did you watch the video? You just got out-thought by an incredibly talented manager, but things are looking up for Newcastle, if I was a Newcastle fan I'd be over the fecking moon still with what's happened over the last 2 years.
@@markjones127they are buzzing with where the squad is now versus two years ago but if they want to be playing European football again next season they need to learn lessons from games like Sunday. Teams around them are improving and really even though Howe isn’t klopp, he should have got them three points on Sunday
@@tommyvinceze6249Agreed but just a thought for us Toon fans. The players were there ON THE PITCH not the manager. At least 1 of the 3 clear chances should have been taken by either Almiron 2? or Barnes and game would have been done. Leave Eddie alone He's a top manager and potentially a GREAT one for Newcastle
A really good analysis. I could see that Klopp successfully clogged the middle, but I did not understand how it could be so effective. I think the smart countermove is for Howe to sub on an AM and build a diamond on either flank. That would force 2 of the red shirts to shift over from the center, and open up big half spaces on the other side of the midfield. There was a degree of luck in Nunez putting those two in but remember that we saw a clear warning shot just minutes before the first goal. His first good forward pass he fumbled with a heavy touch, when he could easily have been pass the defense and onto goal there. Those goals were his second and third opportunities. You cannot give a striker like Nunez three good opportunities and cross your fingers that only 1 or 0 will go in. Some days, that will happen. And some days it could be 3 in the net. Frankly, I think Liverpool were closer to bagging 3 than Newcastle were to bagging 2 (albeit it is worth keeping in mind the play that resulted in a red card). Newcastle had times when Liverpool had trouble getting the ball out of their own half. But in terms of sustaining strong threats on the box, Liverpool was their equal or better. That Liverpool had so many more corner kicks (9 to 5) I think hints at the picture. As a tangent, we are used to Trent and Robertson taking corners, but their new midfielder Szoboszlai is even better at corners IMHO. Liverpool is going to do damage this season, if you give them corners.
In regards to corners I reckon if vvd played the entire match he would've scored at least one of those corners from szoboszlai, after he went off we had 1 good headerer and that was matip and Newcastle r known for their physicality and height
I don't understand how there was a degree of luck involved in either of Darwin's finishes. It was just talent, skill, and execution. Zero luck involved.
@@Jimmy-es8bcthat’s not what he means he’s saying in general, on another day Newcastle could have given up those two chances to Darwin and he drags them wide like we’ve seen before and they’re celebrating three points. Instead he buries both of them clinically and they take no points. Basically a better way of saying it is Newcastle were hoping they would get lucky at the end but they didn’t.
great analysis mate. i hadn't noticed the intricacies you mentioned but was kept looking at the clock thinking why aren't we 2 or 3-0 down. As it got to 80mins & Nunez was introduced i thought, Klopp's bloody going for it. not only did he go for it he pulled off one of the most unlikely victories i have ever seen. massive respect for being a Geordie fan & doing this video btw. I watched this game on TV and let me tell you, that feeling when Nùñez scored that second goal...i was screaming my head off, what a comeback from the reds. I'm a liverpool fan btw. YNWA 🔴
The pub EXPLODED here in the US. Strangers were high fiving and hugging each other, screaming their f heads off!! I feel like we def were a bit extra bc there was a NU fan that had to be as loud and obnoxious as possible, in a Liverpool bar, when they scored. He took it all in good fun at the end and we all congratulated him on a terrific game. Tbh Newcastle played a damn good game, just outclassed by the guy in technical area. We were more angry with the horrid officiating tbh. That early caution on TAA, WITH NOT EVEN A FOUL CALLED ON GORDON, was ridiculous. Easily shoulda been 1.. A foul on Gordon 2. Chew him tf out (no caution) 3. Admonish TAA for throwing the ball away 4. Free kick Reds. I’m a seasoned former State Referee w USSF, and what the ref did is what we call “painting yourself into a corner.” Absolutely amateur of the ref and showed his inexperience with HUGE CLASHES like LFC vs. NU. YNWA!!! 97
Amazing video I’m a Liverpool fan but honestly , was an amazing game , by both teams but we just took our chances ! Newcastles just gotta pick there season up and they will still be a threat
for me as a Liverpool fan, games between Newcastle and Liverpool have always been amazing to watch, I still remember the 4-3 games from the 90s, it was both in 96 and 97 at Anfield, amazing games. This one at ST James Park was no exception, it was amazing, aside from the atrocious refereeing, but that's another story. My favorite Newcastle player has always been David Ginola. I know everyone loved Shearer, but for me, Ginola was a special man, I loved watching him play. in fact, my first ever English football Jersey was one that I put Ginola 14 on the back. The store didn't sell Liverpool jerseys until later and I wanted to get one. it was one of those with Newcastle Brown Ale sponsor on it from the 90s
Great insight to the tactical switch. You wouldn't believe there are actual Liverpool fans who say Klopp is the problem & not the owners lack of ambition in transfer market. The guy is easily up there as one of the best managers I've had the priviledge to watch in the last 35 years. If it wasn't for the genius of Pep, Klopp would have won more.
By saying it's the genius of pep implies both managers operate with equal budgets but one is just simply a genius....both managers were recruited from the bundesliga where they competed against each other for years, one had super power team, while the other made an ordinary team challenge and won the league back to back, out performing the super team managed by the so called genius manager...here in England you can call the free spending manager a genius all you want, but he isn't a genius if it is Klopp you are comparing him with, I just thought I should correct that statement.
He's a great manager, but it's easy to be a genius when you can just spend your way out of any problem without the minor issue of ever having to earn that dosh to begin with, or pay it back. If City had to operate on the money they make as a business with no book cooking they'd still be struggling to break into the top half, Pep or not.
Good review of the tactics. What we could say is that when Liverpool had 11, they had 1 chance that was manufactured by Diaz alone with a slaloming run and a prod with the outside of his right foot, something Pope would deal would easily. As soon as Jota and Elliot came on, Jota started to play in that space and set up Salah for a chance which led to a series of corners, this was the momentum change. Then Nunez miscontrolled an Elliot pass which if he hadn't would have led to a big chance Followed by his first goal Then Nunez actually played in Jota with a reverse pass which he miskicked/completely missed. Followed by his second goal. They actually created more chances after that first set of subs and the tactical change. They waited for that moment and they took it.
People assume the goals came from nowhere. Just two lucky breaks but how many corners did we have? At least 4, one after the other. A game won with superior intelligence and in some areas, superior quality. But a great game.
Probably helps Liverpool have more depth in forwards. But anyway Newcastle players don't seem to react to well tactically. The Champions league will be so interesting for Newcastle. I think their away games will be an eye opener.
@@joemac9249 It's not easy to have so much quality depth. Our defence is actually pretty good when they're fit but they never stay fit long enough to get back to form. Nobody could have foreseen our midfields form last season dropping off a cliff after the brilliant season before. Newcastle are normally hard to beat. That should ensure they have a decent run in the champions league. But against the better teams, Howe will struggle.
@@DudeSilad I'd say one of your defence's biggest issues is the lack of pace in your full backs. All the top CL teams generally have that in at least one fb
Being a Liverpool fan I can tell exactly how you guys are feeling. For many years we had to endure pain. Bad owners terrible transfer market moves. But let me tell you this, Good times are not far away for Newcastle. You guys are nearly there and pretty soon your going to be lifting silverware. Just trust the process ❤️ YNWA
I know you probably don't want input from Liverpool fans, but for whatever it's worth, this is a REALLY good analysis. I don't really have a tactical mind, so usually these sorts of videos go over my head. But you explained things in a way that was entertaining and informative and I was actually able to understand. That's a special ability that's pretty rare; usually people only have one skill or the other. Either the tactician mind or the entertainment factor. You've got both. Keep up the great work.
Honestly mate, this has made me feel so much better. Excellent analysis and it helps get over it when you accept that we were seriously out-managed (it’s not JUST that we’re cursed). Hope Eddie treats this as a serious learning opportunity, I’m sure he will.
A lot of respect to you man. There aren’t many individuals who make videos without a biased point of view. The way you explained this as a Liverpool supporter I had ent noticed and it’s actually quite amazing of an explanation. You just earned yourself a new lifetime subscriber!!!
From a Liverpool fan, i give you mad respect for not only going through this analysis but doing so while hungover 😄. This video made me like and subscribe to the channel.
A lot of the reaction to the game has been bitching about yellow and red cards so this was a breath of fresh air. I listened on the radio, so I had no idea that this was what Liverpool did. Thank you for putting the time and effort into this explanation. Great video.
As a Liverpool supporter I thought you guys were easily going to win. With your explanation of the tactical changes I can now see how they gave themselves a chance. Thank you for your video. YNWA
I actually saw this Liverpool shape playing Champions League games. Trent has always been targeted and even at times Robertson. The x2 wingers supports the x2 wingbacks. Liverpool collectively defend altogether and move forward collectively. It is very strenuous on the Liverpool x2 wingers ( forwards), as it rquires much more focus and energy, but assists in beaking down the opposition.
That's why we almost won the quadruple at some point, Liverpool put all their energy into that seasons and went for it no matter what happens, and it showed last season with how bad our energy was
Klopp removed the Henderson role last season (one reason why he left this summer) which was covering that right channel allowing Trent to front foot defend. Now without that cover it completely compromises Trent's position and so far Klopp hasn't worked out how to fix it - he expects attacks from wide, just doesn't want them from the centre. The pundidiots all focus on Trent rather than klopp's changes.
@@seyiipinmoroti858 hi there. so if he didn't remove the role, who is now shielding that right channel along with Trent? And where has the advanced midfielder on the right up by Salah come from, pushing Salah out to the wing? For me, it has unbalanced the team and opponents are exploiting it.
@@DeepakKumar-lv4te that tweak happened at the tail end of the season actually. It was in response to the inneffectivity of the midfield/hendo not vice-versa. Ideally, if we bought an LCB and played 3 CBs with a double pivot of Trent and a proper number 6, our defense becomes much more stable. If the LCB is good with his feet and left-footed, ball progression becomes even more dynamic and difficult to press leading to less turnovers. This new system also let's us play two 10s (who, fortunately are also good at ball retention) making our attack even more potent. The system is good, unfortunately we've not acquired some needed profiles to perfect it(a proper DM and an LCB). It's also important to note that so far this season due to Trent's defending or through the space supposedly left by Trent. Ironically it's been in-possession errors from Trent. Admittedly, I think it's actually a result of the team still adjusting to the new formation.
good analysis in terms of what Liverpool did. I would have liked you to cover Eddie Howe's changes and why they made things worse. Keep up the good content!
First time visiting your channel. Great content mate. Very humble, respectful and intelligent game knowledge. Might have been a different picture when you were in the stadium but how and ever you got my sub.
defo like a defender brought in, andre from fluminense at the end of the year and our #6 position will never have been so strong. Just need Klopp to find some balance in his setup, seems oblivious to it. Everyone's creating massive chances against us. they won't all miss like Newcastle.
Not a Newcastle fan but I do want to learn more about the the tactics and formations in football and I loved your analysis over the tactics used in this game
This analysis is brilliant and spot on. And to be a Newcastle fan who was at St James' ( coz that's what it is for us old geezers) just speaks volumes about your character. I'm going back and looking through your old vids now. Hope you lot kick on and do well, brill fan base (from a life long LFC fan)
I mean, Alexander Anrnold's yellow was a bit rough. It gave one of the biggest cheats in the league an advantage. And he didn't gibe a free for the shove in the back. Then factor in his reluctance to book any Newvastle player (Joelinton and Guimares in particular) and you could see the dynamic.
Am not one for conspiracy theories, I would prefer to view the officiating in that game as incompetence. 1. Gordon shoves TAA of the pitch, could have resulted in a nasty injury. No card for Gordon, TAA gets booked when he realises it's not even a foul on him. 2. VVD gets sent off for a great tackle. Quite possibly one of the worst decisions I've ever seen in 50 years of watching football all over the world. Not including the bribed refs in south American and Italian football of the 1970s and 80s in that. No matter what angle you look at it, the defender got the ball first and the attacker does a swan dive after he's been tackled then proceeds to roll around on the floor like someone stole his Oreo's and gave them to a Sunderland Supporter. 3. Persistent fouling from multiple Newcastle players that goes unpunished. Some of which was quite nasty, esp. Joelinton.
Amazing analysis. This tactical part of football is usually well over my head. As a Liverpool fan, I thought the first 60 minutes were incredibly frustrating and we weren't in with much a of a chance. Rowdy St. James Park, 1-0 down and with 10 men..... It wasn't until we made the second change you mentioned that I could sense the oppurtunity and thought we might snatch a point. If I was more tactically aware, I might have noticed earlier on us trying to control the game in the way you mentioned.
I really enjoyed this video ! As a Liverpool fan from Canada I must say you have a lot of resolve not only to break down and analyze the game but actually watch it again knowing the result… You’re definitely the kind of guy I would have a pint with… Cheers from Toronto…
Brilliant. I couldn't work out what was going on at all and why Newcastle stopped getting through the middle into the last third. Perfect explanation. Sorry for your loss. Nunez would have hit row Z with both those last season but Klopp's been in his head all summer.
Awesome tactical analysis mate. Loved the game from LFC point of view but him being a Newcastle fan and accepting the fact that Liverpool played better under such circumstances with strategic positioning and accepting the fact that his team played right into LFC’s trap was top class admission. One of the best strategic breakdown videos I’ve ever seen online. Great job mate 👏🏻 .
We played the same as we always did, constant pressing waiting for the opposition to make errors and take advantage of the counter attack, it was sheer determination and never say never attitude that got us that win, YNWA❤️
Well done on the analysis. Very much appreciated for someone whose watched footie for a while now and starting to get more interested in actual tactics. Subbed!
What i love from these kinds of analysis videos is the need to always clarify that the strategy a manager is implementing has a risk/reward element, because most football fans are jot capable of seeing nuances
Nunez was also clever in his positioning by staying on the left side of the Newcastle defence away from Trippier which gave him much better probability of running at the defenders and shooting.
As quality as Liverpool's tactical tweaks were, it wouldn't have mattered if Newcastle had nous and just kept the ball better. Instead, they panicked every time liverpool pressed them instead of playing out of the press. Barnes not squaring it to Wilson was massive too.
They were unsuccessful keeping the ball vs. the press bc they were surrounded. It makes me wonder if the Christmas tree could be back at some point. Just give the 2 a lot of freedom to move out wide, create space and matchups, and have Nunez at the top waiting for chances, pressing, tracking back to take up the space when cover is needed. Opportunities for Szoboszlai to venture forward as well.
Tbf Barnes had only just come on so maybe I'll forgive him that one. His position was actually perfect for him to race in on goal and even shoot himself
I don't know if Newcastle panicked but every time Liverpool looked to be breaking, Newcastle would foul them. The commentator brought Atletico Madrid who are notorious for such antics. Citeh used to be as well until there were so many complaints by opposition managers about it.
Tbh if Newcastle could hit a barn door we would’ve won. Look at the amount of shots we had, terrible conversion. Game should’ve been buried far earlier in the match.
@@StoneProductionsUK Coulda woulda shoulda. Game is decided by who puts the ball in the net the most. Liverpool are the best counterattacking team in the country. Newcastle apart from the goal were confined to long range and half chances. No clear cut chances.
It's the win that thrilled lovers of football particularly Liverpool fans across the world, it's the good things that we can take away from the match. E.g The match started with a high quality defence of Matip and Van Dhyk but ended with a second choice Gomez and an academy player Quansah, it was played over a long period of about 70 minutes with 1 man down in a very hostile opponent's environment. It was a match every Liverpool player had given up hope of winning but rather prayed for a draw. It was unbelievable. What a Klop's masterclass
There is a reason why you don't bench Salah in the last minutes of the game he's a player who can adapt to any tactical change and his play making creativity is world class him and jota being behind Nunez in both plays Mo was involved the first he played the ball to jota the second he provided the assist I have this feeling that if Klopp didn't bench Mo in 70 minutes against Chelsea liverpool would have won the game he's not just the goalscorer of the team but he is the most important playmaker and chance creator in the team itself it's like having a an inverted winger / right midfielder / playmaker at the same time unfortunately fans only see Mo Salah for his goals
In this game, Liverpool was playing better and better as the minutes ticked away, and the subs improved the situation. In the Chelsea game, it was the the Blues who were rising to the occasion, and the Liverpool subs did not matter much positively or negatively.
as a liverpool fan i applaud your breakdown i cant find any flaw in what you have said here, honestly would come back to see your views more often. good job and to the newcastle fans there will be another day and time im sure you will grab them 3 points off of us just a matter of time as your team is now back close to its all time best in time i see it becoming even stronger!! good game and best of luck through the rest of the season.

Your statement about being able to see it at the game is so true. As an American, most of our traditional sports are better on TV, but not 'soccer'. Being able to see the shapes and movement is really fun once you begin to learn more about the game. Even though I only get to see MLS in person, and the one off preseason friendly, you can still catch it and when you see whats coming and then it comes, its real fun. In American Football, you have so many coaches up high looking down at the field to get a similar perspective. Is that something they do in real Football?

That is Herr Kloppo's way of playing or his team's template in having the will to win. He would rather lose 3-0 but knowing his team gave everything to try win the game rather than just sit back and catch on the break, maybe get a point. It worked on this occasion thanks to Nunez; 2 shots, 2 goals. 😁
the crowd had the referee in their pocket and the equalizer was not in the refs script and he didn't know what to do, after that Liverpool took the whole stadium over, and Joelinton could have been booked 8 times if you watch the whole match and It was the Ref that in the end engineered Newcastle's defeat.

I love how Szoboszlai takes his corners. He dips them in with pace rather than putting curve on the ball and swinging them in like Trent and Robbo.
I don't understand how there was a degree of luck involved in either of Darwin's finishes. It was just talent, skill, and execution. Zero luck involved.
@@Jimmy-es8bc it was anger from Darwin that gave him the impetus to do what he did, South Americans thrive on that
@@Jimmy-es8bcthat’s not what he means he’s saying in general, on another day Newcastle could have given up those two chances to Darwin and he drags them wide like we’ve seen before and they’re celebrating three points.
As it got to 80mins & Nunez was introduced i thought, Klopp's bloody going for it. not only did he go for it he pulled off one of the most unlikely victories i have ever seen. massive respect for being a Geordie fan & doing this video btw. this guy is both so good at his job and so funny he's a tough one to beat
I watched this game on TV and let me tell you, that feeling when Nùñez scored that second goal...i was screaming my head off, what a comeback from the reds.
I'm a liverpool fan btw.

NU.

The store didn't sell Liverpool jerseys until later and I wanted to get one. it was one of those with Newcastle Brown Ale sponsor on it from the 90s
the refs are going to be a real problem this season. we're a marked club now, a real lack of intelligence at the club.
If it wasn't for Sheikh club owners Liverpool would be farming the PL like Bayern.
If City had to operate on the money they make as a business with no book cooking they'd still be struggling to break into the top half, Pep or not.
liverpool always do the epic comeback. its not just luck. but luck is create by them
As a liverpool fan I really respect you for being so impartial and objective with this review. really enjoyed this vid, thanks mate
Then Nunez miscontrolled an Elliot pass which if he hadn't would have led to a big chance
Followed by his first goal
Then Nunez actually played in Jota with a reverse pass which he miskicked/completely missed.
Good 5 years until they can challenge city tbh but yeah looking better than a lot of “big clubs” ran efficiently
Why was Ashley a bad owner? He bought the club, put a load of money into it (over £100m) and then said "live within your means". Fans are the problem.

If only MOTD was this insightful and entertaining. You've got my sub for this.
As a Liverpool fan, I didn't understand what was happening, but you explained it so clearly. I might as well subscribe to your channel.
This was a genuinely excellent analysis - better than anything I've ever seen from TifoIRL
Tifo videos have gone downhill since they got that new presenter.
A lot of respect to you man. There aren’t many individuals who make videos without a biased point of view. The way you explained this as a Liverpool supporter I had ent noticed and it’s actually quite amazing of an explanation. You just earned yourself a new lifetime subscriber!!!
I just thought it was good fortune and heart but after your explanation I’m proud of how Klopp managed the game so well. Effin brilliant!
As a Liverpool fan can I just say, fair play to you for doing this. It must have been hard.

@@DeepakKumar-lv4tehe didn't "remove" the role. Henderson declined and he tried looking for a solution.
Fascinating! Thanks for the analysis, have subscribed. Apologies for the mugging
Liverpool fan , great video , good luck , you earned a sub !
good analysis in terms of what Liverpool did. I would have liked you to cover Eddie Howe's changes and why they made things worse. Keep up the good content!
I think this game and Klopp’s tactics will be studied by big team managers for a long time.
First time visiting your channel. Great content mate. Very humble, respectful and intelligent game knowledge. Might have been a different picture when you were in the stadium but how and ever you got my sub.
Absolutely love this video. Hugely insightful analysis delivered in a concise and really fun way. Just brilliant.
Klopp is different gravy, if we can sign a defender and another midfielder we really can push for a title
defo like a defender brought in, andre from fluminense at the end of the year and our #6 position will never have been so strong.
Tifoirl and Football Made Simple also has good tactical analyses. Go check those out if you don't already know them.
I first thought it was a Nunez Masterclass Now I know it's also a Klopp masterclass🔥
Am still shocked Gordon wasn’t sent off against city last week
Yep very questionable how joelinton escaped a booking for so many fouls.
Joelinton should have gotten 5 Yellow Cards in the game
@@theojenner1902 Saudi Arabia has bought the Referees Too
Am not one for conspiracy theories, I would prefer to view the officiating in that game as incompetence.
Joelinton.
One of the best tactical videos I’ve seen. Superb stuff.

Lol the “see ya virg!” And then flick 😂 4:18
Well done on the analysis. Very much appreciated for someone whose watched footie for a while now and starting to get more interested in actual tactics. Subbed!
What i love from these kinds of analysis videos is the need to always clarify that the strategy a manager is implementing has a risk/reward element, because most football fans are jot capable of seeing nuances
Best non partisan review ever - you’re a great pundit mate , I’m pretty certain you’ll have your million subscribers very soon 😊
One of the all-time top five videos I have ever seen on the Internet, amazing man, kudos

So thanks... deserving of a subscription! Debating reasonably doesn't take away from supporting your own team, in fact, your love for Newcastle comes across even more. FWIW, for all the tactics, footy is a game also decided by luck and the flimsiest of margins and things could have gone either way there.. gotta also add that Howe's substitutions with I think 20 mins to go were bit bonkers weren't they?
Your statement about being able to see it at the game is so true. As an American, most of our traditional sports are better on TV, but not 'soccer'. Being able to see the shapes and movement is really fun once you begin to learn more about the game. Even though I only get to see MLS in person, and the one off preseason friendly, you can still catch it and when you see whats coming and then it comes, its real fun. In American Football, you have so many coaches up high looking down at the field to get a similar perspective. Is that something they do in real Football?

the crowd had the referee in their pocket and the equalizer was not in the refs script and he didn't know what to do, after that Liverpool took the whole stadium over, and Joelinton could have been booked 8 times if you watch the whole match and It was the Ref that in the end engineered Newcastle's defeat.
