I bought this machine to see what it is, as it says entry level, but it works great, and I am impressed. not like the big boys but as it is intended, can't beat it. don't pay any attention to the nay sayers ,at this price you gotta try it
Cheap chinese sunpow metal detector with minelabs name and colors scheme. Minelab is probably getting a percent of sale of these things. It's kind of a sad situation in my opinion.
Vdi is a little off. And depth is meh. To me it would be just fine for a kid or someone that wants to goof around with. Personally I'd save for a more advanced machine
Literally every single review of anything I am willing to pay for, “Save your money for the more expensive ones.”, this is not the cheapest one on Amazon, how far up the ladder do we have to go to have fun? maybe compare it to your more expensive one and show us why?
Think ill do a few comparison videos with it. And probably give it away. Work well for a kid. Depth wise is not very great for a adult starting machine unless they want to find clad at parks etc

Calabash did a good comparison with another Amazon one close to the same price. I'll be glad to do on with a name brand one 50$ more.

I'll be giving one away hopefully soon. I got a few magnets but mostly detect. I want to upgrade my magnets in the future

The new Nokta FINDX is a better buy. And at least Nokta developed their machine in-house rather than rebadging a Chinese Sunpow OT-MD09.

9 volt batteries are bad to use. Detector is Not waterproof.
