here's hope? we have an infection in our 100 acre forest here in Ireland, we have many large veteran ASH we'd like to protect. From where can one source more information?
Hi Mark, a tree needs 42! different minerals and trace elements to function optimally.... if there are less, wich is often the case, it does not matter how old the tree is or how healthty it looks...
Not necessarily, I've used it on several different trees and tree species and have noticed a difference, but we don't just use biochar, but combine it with a soil drench and a few other tricks depending on the soil conditions.
If you check a bit more, you will discover the tree picked up more Calcium where the biochar was applied.
