I don't listen much to Twenty One Pilots these days. Their songs remind me of a time when I was suffering alone and death seemed a lot better than the migraine in my head, and now I can't listen to them without remembering the way I felt. I don't feel bad when I listen, I actually feel kinda happy because I realized these songs helped me through a lot when I needed the most and now I'm better, I'm stronger and I have moved on. I know I will never love Twenty One Pilots the way I once did and their songs may not touch my soul as deeply as they once did, but these guys' art actually saved my life. And I couldn't be more grateful for it.

You can see it as actually talking about migranes and houses of gold or the figurative meaning, typically relating to mental illness and depression. Seeing as both I and my family suffer from both interchangeably all songs relate to me more than I can express.

I remember migraine was one of the first 21 pilots songs I heard. There was this guy I liked and he had said "I really like 21 pilots" at the time, the only tøp songs I knew were ride, stressed out, and house of gold. That night I listened to every single 21 pilots song and I realized how absolutely amazing their music is. The thing is, I started to get really into it. Not because of the guy but because the music was great. I remember that I came to school and we talked about music once again. Turns out he thinks all of self titled and rab are "suicidal trash" that kid ended up being a duchebag and I actually moved States because of the things he did, but in a way, by introducing me to 21 pilots he changed my life for the better. Ironically, later in life I listened to 21 pilots to recover from the depression he brought onto me. I remember he got the entire grade to stop talking to me. My home life was also pretty bad and I had no friends, but through it all, I had 21 pilots. He also did a lot of things to other people. I have left that school now and I am over my depression, but 21 pilots brings me happiness
When I was about 6 years old, my favorite cousin, who is about 4 years years older than me, showed me this amazing band, We used to listen to them for ever, then when she went to high school, we split apart, she now hangs with her friends, and I hang with her younger brother who is 3 years younger than me, and now when ever I listen to the albums Vessel, and Blurry face, I always remember those beautiful moments I miss.....

The hardest part of having chronic hemiplegic migraines isn’t necessarily the pain, but rather not being able to move or speak and having to fight with all the horrible ideas that go through your mind about how to make it stop when nothing really helps and no treatment helps and it’s something you’ll have your whole life.
According from a discord chat with Tyler and the clique about a week , Tyler and Josh made an official music video for migraine but they hesitated releasing it because it included a gun in it. But Tyler said they may release it in the future!

Johnny boy went to go get a taxi cab after he stole a car radio from his good friend the message man. The police caught him when he fell through a trap door. They were pointing their gun hands at him. On the way to the station, he saw a house of gold, and it looked like there was a kitchen sink in there. The area was fairly local. When he got to his cell he sang an ode to sleep, and the whole ordeal had him stressed out and gave him a migraine. Why does it feel like Tyler is my mental twin? I've written poetry since I was a teenager and I feel like it almost mirrors his lyrics sometimes. What we both write and feel. I am sad to see such a beautiful artist exist with so much torment, but at the same time, I am glad he is bringing awareness to this. Anxiety and depression are such a real thing. I would love to meet this marvelous man. His creations are so amazing to me. I can't help but admire his talent and hard work, although I really have to marvel at what he has gone through to get this far in life. Great work gentlemen! Much loyalty to you.
