I was trying to figure out why you had what sounds like Morse code going on in the background, before you turned off the welder and I realised it was coming from that!
These homemade packs are probably better than the ones most of these phones came with. If not, you could probably easily make one with 3 times the capacity for a few dollars. And it would probably outlive the phone. Or at least it would probably outlive the usefulness of the phone.
Tons of them here. I install several a week. They are all derived voice now on fiber but still lots of home phone service. I have a home phone with battery backup. Not as many as a few years ago but still lots of home phone.
I was only able to fix my Dual 1019 because I followed you precisely fixing yours - Thank You! 🙏 Have a great holiday your channel is terrific 👍
You're welcome. Glad it worked out for you.
That's why I love my Panasonic cordless phones. They use AAA NiMH batteries. Easy to replace.
Yes I know.
Merry Christmas from Norway
Merry Christmas, decoration fix next LOL

I built one for my motorola cordless phone. Used AAA nimh and I was able to add taps to regular AAA NIMH and make it fit.
Merry Christmas 12voltsvids
I still get calls on the land line from people who are trying to sell stuff to my stepfather. He died over a decade ago.
Not me. I have call control feature. Stops all robo calls.
I like to stick mine together with a couple drops of hot glue.
Merry Christmas everyone. 🎄
That will work too.
Who still uses a landline? Very few and far between, I would imagine.
