I am a welder, that being said if you want a quality machine that will last and have parts available for years to come then you need to get a Miller, Hobart or Lincoln. The import stuff will do ok for a little while, good luck on parts down the road.
Let me start off by saying Thank You! It takes time and energy to put out videos and yours are truly appreciated. I just got into welding a year ago and bought a Hobart Handler 100 to get my hands into it. It has proven to be a very dependable and robust welder for the flux core welding I do. I would love to try my hand at Tig welding, and with the help of your channel and other on RUclips it will happen. Once again - Thank you!
I WANT THAT! I’m taking welding classes so I can work on my $900 project racecar. I’d love to have a multiprocess machine made in this century because my 50 year old stick welder isn’t always the right process for the job…
Just saw this & want to say thanks. I do woodwork & minor metal work; always thought about learning how to do light welding. There is a dizzying array of welding machines out there and your review nailed a lot of the important aspects, whether applying to the ones you have or others.
Thank you for your video, which allows us to have more welder options. All the machines looked good, and I was particularly impressed with the big digital display from Arccaptain
I want that. Thanks for another great, informative video! My 1.5 year old Titanium 125 that I have been learning to weld with (using youtube videos like yours) died this week in the middle of a project, so I am in the market for a new welder, and this comparison was very informative. Keep up the good work!
I want that! I have been looking for a good multiprocess welder to keep learning at home. Thank you for making videos like these to help people like me who really want to pick out a great machine and don't know where to start.
I want that welder. I am beginner and am still searching for my first machine. I have been watching many channels, but I like yours as one of the best because you are real and genuine good guy. I appreciate all your info and will continue to watch. Keep up the good work and hope your son picks my post for the free welder. Thanks, Matt(Oakland, CA)
I want that … I really need it. My previous employer stole close to $5,000.00 dollars on tools from me. I’m working at another shop now, but not having my tools makes work a little more complicated. Thank you in advance and thank you for sharing your experience with us!!

I want that! Not sure if it's still going on but I literally just found your channel. *fingers crossed* I used to weld on that Lincoln you have there but the ex got the whole shop during a divorce. I've been trying to build my shop back since. It was a great welder! Looking to get another welder soon. This video was super helpful for more affordable options. Thanks for your thorough coverage!
I want that, just signed up for 110 and 120, planning on get my welding certificate, thanks for the video, helped a lot as well 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽, happy thanksgiving to you and your family 🤝🏽👍🏽🙏🏽.
Thank you for this review. I grew up on "Big Red" and "Big Blue". I have lost all faith in them over the years because of pricing and quality. If if were to buy for work it would be HTP, Fronius, or OTC DiaHen. For personal welding there are several low price options that are perfect for the DIY'r.
I want that ALRIGHT 👍 I like giveaways I want that I really like these comparison videos it's incredible what you can get with some of these cheaper machines
I Want That! So glad you put this match-up on here. This is the kind of content the community needs to make informed decisions. Thank you! Liked and subscribed
I want that. This video was really helpful. I have been wanting a welder for a while and this video was really informative and straightforward. It was extremely helpful. Thanks.
for me i just wanna buy a welder for at home, I've been a shipfitter for years, but dont really weld anything other than tacking everything together or whatever tools im using to fit. hoping i can get something like one of these and brush up on my skills at home for a pay increase at work! thanks for the video!!
I want that. I'm just getting started and was looking for a multiprocess machine. I'm fortunate enough to have a mid-level budget so the lower end never entered the picture, nor did the fancy, expensive Millermatics. I considered that same Lincoln, and the HF Titanium and Vulcan lines, but ended up buying a Hobart Multihandler 200. More power, dual voltage, includes a tig torch, is spool gun and foot pedal ready, and has a digital readout, for about the same price as the Lincoln. That Vevor is nifty, though. I have their ultrasonic cleaner. No issues.
As an alternative to the Titanium, consider the Klutch MP140SI from Northern Tool. I'm convinced it's the same welder with a 3yr warranty. Had mine for a few years and it has not disappointed.

I want that, but I'm in the UK. I have the MIG 200, it's not bad for what I use it for, but I can't work out if the TIG is lift or scratch. It feels like scratch. But I bought a Vevor TIG 160 with hf start as it made it easier.
I WANT THAT! and I hope your wife didnt find out on Thanksgiving how much money you have spent on welders :). Seriously, great content and great channel. Keep it up! maybe more Timwelds collabs? :)

There is a difference between the cheaper ones. The ArcCaptain and up seem to run better so yes you don't get as good of a machine on the cheaper end.

Probably only going to use it for one job and then sell it, so what’s the best welder for 1/8” thick aluminum? I need to build 2 gates.
Cheapest would be Titanium 140 with the spool gun. Don't forget for alum. you'll need 100% argon gas.
I WANT THAT! and I hope your wife didnt find out on Thanksgiving how much money you have spent on welders :). Seriously, great content and great channel. Keep it up! maybe more Timwelds collabs? :)

With the Eastwood Mig135, what is the best wire for that welder?
For auto restoration.
Just discovered your channel. Enjoying your content. Just wondering the videos I've watched with you welding you are not wearing any PPE for breathing. Are you concerned with inhaling the welding debris? Any have you done any videos on it?
That is correct, you should have good ventilation or a mask. Most of the time I have a good cross flow from the door in back of my garage and then I'll lift the garage a little as well. If I'm doing a lot it will be open all the way.

As long as the settings are maxed out you can run on a 15 amp breaker without tripping.
