Most people know about "Freeing the Caged Bird" here on RUclips. Well, this performance is simply a testament to Barbara's work in the area of technique.Though, this is not just about technique! It's so important for people to understand that this kind of playing stems from a unrelenting desire to understand how we function the best at a highly coordinated task, no matter what that might be; connecting the two leads us to a better understanding of ourselves and the music we play. The music making in this video is not only coordinated wonderfully, but it's especially INCREDIBLY musical and communicative. That's the most important thing!
I believe this video sums in all up and connects all the bridges: Barbara Lister-Sink is a wonderful model for us all:)
