Yeah.... it really wasnt that good. Pretty mild. The swing they just made "tidal wave" or something like that is freaking insane. Its the clostest thing to skydiving ive ever felt.
@@thomasjefferson6334 I was disappointed with Tidal Wave. It felt like nothing. I don't know if it's because it swings back so quickly or what but I didn't feel any thrill at all. The view was awesome though. Maybe if they let it hang into a natural fall after either apex ? I don't know, it was just ok. Air time on Steel Eel was sick though. Had a fast pass and rode it like 5 times. Tidal Wave unfortunately wasn't on Fast Pass but I'm still glad I rode it. Twice in fact as my niece wanted to ride it too.
This ride is called steel eel it has at sea world San Antonio Texas the ride goes up to 55 miles per hour I rode this I give it a 9.5/10 it’s scary but really fun hope this helped 💖
It was actually the first ever ride at a theme park I ever rode on. I kept begging my mom to bring me back bc I loved it so much. Name: Steel Eel Where: Sea World (San Antonio) Height: As tall as a 15 story building Would I recommend: Yes.
@@eloyortega4283 Nice. I've done it twice. The next time it was only open for educational things so I couldn't ride it that time:((. Also, HOW DARE YOU ENJOY THE RIDE SO MANY TIMES. IT IS VERY GOOD AND I DON'T EVEN BLAME YOU.
I actually have ridden this and it’s not really that tall or scary. Most coasters now are like 200+ feet but this one is only 150 and it doesn’t even ever go upside down. A very good beginner coaster if you ask me. 9/10
150 foot coaster should never be a beginner coaster. That's a good way to turn someone off from riding coasters. The "Family Coaster" category exists for a reason. And most coasters aren't 200+. Cedar Point is like a coaster capitol and over half of their coasters are under 200 feet. Just say you're a big boy who isn't afraid of coasters! We're all very proud of you 👏🏻👏🏻
The scary part about this coaster is , when your entering the line to get on there is 4 cell phone that are destroy with a sign that says will your phone survive the ride . I was worried about my phone in my pocket 🤣🤣 great ride tho
This is steel eel at Seaworld San Antonio, and it is not all that scary. The scariest part of this ride is probably the drop and most of the airtime hills. If you’re not looking for a ride that has floater air time I don’t recommend this as you’re not in your seat on every hill.
@@Dollicate1 From what I've heard, SeaWorld San Antonio is not as good as Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Fiesta Texas has the Iron Rattler, Superman, and Dr Diabolical's cliffhanger. That's way better than Steel Eel and Great White.
I rode this years ago back when I was 7 and forced to get on it by my dad , back then I was incredibly skinny and the seat belts didn’t hold me too tight so my dad had to hold me in the whole time . This ride gave me trauma and to this day you can not get me on big rides or roller coasters but I do have an exception for a couple of them that I have gone on
Morgan is the scariest manufacturer. Their track looks like Arrow's, but it's smooth. It always freaks me out when I ride an arrow coaster like corkscrew, then a Morgan coaster like the west coaster. (It's sadly the only Morgan I've ridden).
Yes I would. I rode bigger coasters such as Goliath (at Six Flags Over Georgia), Apollo’s Chariot, and even Intimidator 305. Steel Eel would probably be one of the best coasters to start with if you want to ride steel hypers for the first time. But this ride still looks insane.

After the brake run that G force was strong and it’s 150 tall so I would give it 9.5/10
I would give it a 5/10, because all it has are camel backs. A good coaster needs a variety of elements so that it doesn’t get repetitive.

This is the Steel Eel at SeaWorld San Antonio. I've been on it, and it's fun, but the first drops are a little intense. I really recommend it!

This looks fun, but I wouldn’t describe it as insane. Of course my home park has the world’s most aggressive giga coaster.

I didn't know whether or not to laugh or be stunned in silence 🤣
Steel Eel is quite intense from what I've heard. The Cedar Fair Morgan Hypers are forceless because of all the trims they added.
If I could I would do it

The steel eel! Amazing coaster
I just came back from Seaworld and I went on this ride. Heck yeah I would ride it again and it was so fun.
