also, my favorite book of the summer is if he had been with me! it was so emotional and beautiful. if you like emotional romance books, you’ll definitely love it!
it IS very sad (i genuinely still cry about it sometimes and tomorrow is the tragic date in the book and im scared lol) but it’s also just such a beautiful story that’s really impacting and incredible! totally understand if you don’t want to read it though!
damn i had exactly the same rating for novel love story i was so sad!! i wanted to love it and it was such a flop for me too. love her writing, love seven year slip, but just didn't really vibe with any characters!

emotional romance books are always my favorite
yessss they just hit so much harder & the characters are always better
I also didn't like people we meet on vacation at all I read it in 2022, and this year I read happy place and its one of my comfort reads now
it’s so weird how her other books are comfort reads for us but people we meet wasn’t memorable or that enjoyable
