Great piece! I missed out on this unfortunately!!! I really wished they would make more pieces! To few! I did get the RED 5 though so I am happy about that!
@@StarWarsCollected Just FYI I put a down payment on a preorder for the Force Laboratory TIE/D Automated Starfighter Battle Diorama 1/24 GK Statue. This is their first attempt at making ships. They have a 1/24 x wing that goes along with the Tie. Both have Deathstar bases that link together to form a diorama. I just got the tie and skipped the x wing since I was able to get the MYC Red 5. FL previously made the AT ST, Bobba Fett Blaster and the Han solo Blaster. All really nice stuff so I hope this Tie will just as nice. The price including shipping is pretty cheap. Altogether under 600 so not so pricey as MYC stuff. We'll see if it's just as nice! Due for release in 2024! : )
I've been watching them for a while and I'm curious to see how that goes! I know there were some weird issues with the Boba Blaster, so I've yet to dive in myself. @@nelsonc6173
That’s a really great idea! Sadly I already packaged this back up and tucked it away for when my collection gallery is done. Shoot. Maybe I’ll remember to do that with some of other upcoming MYC pieces though!
Really good so accurate and studio scale sized but just curious do "MYC sculptures " have permission or a licensed from Disney to replicate Star Wars vehicles ? if not , how can they be sold as a "Star Wars tie fighter " ?
They are not a licensed maker, and do avoid calling things "Star Wars" or by their official names. For example, this was labeled as "Model T" opposed to "TIE Fighter". From what I understand in talking with people who represent companies that do have licenses, it's a balancing act. Disney/Lucasfilm knows the they owe a lot to the fans and makers who have invested so much in their property and operate mostly under a "high tide raises all boats" mentality. That being said, if you go to something like Star Wars Celebration, there are no lightsaber vendors whatsoever as Hasbro is the only license holder, and they don't sell them out of their booth. So that's always a little odd that you can't buy a lightsaber at the official Star Wars convention. Disney basically leaves small makers like MYC, RS Prop masters, and a lot of the people on etsy/facebook alone because in the end, it helps keep the fandom engaged more than it hurts their profits I think.
Might have to dip my hands int MYC, great review!
The water is fine Shawn! Thanks!
This is such an impressive ship. Congrats man!
Thanks for always giving us previews!
Beautiful piece 🥰🥰🥰
I'm in love with it bud !
@@StarWarsCollected I can imagine!!!! ☺️
Good review bud. Perhaps your next investment should be a bigger table.
Ha! Good point! Bigger table means less space for statues though 🤷🏻♂️
Nicely done, sir. The TIE Interceptor is going to be epic.
You know all about nicely done and epic! Can't wait to get it!
This is so beautiful, well done!🤩
Thank you! A great piece for sure!!
The Clean version is fantastic!! Love it
It does look great! I think I'll go for weathered on the Interceptor though!
I think I may have to hide some cash for the x-wing
@@vegaslimmi ya know if I have the tie… I’m gonna need the X-Wing too!!! Can’t wait to see it! Maybe they’ll even do variants someday.
Good video, I’m itching to receive the ATAT that’s my first MYC piece and I’m 100% gettting this x-wing coming up soon

Would it be possible for you to do a side by side comparison between this MYC tie fighter and Hasbro tie fighter?

That is the lowest ceiling I've ever seen! 😂😂
Oh friend, when you’re 6’7”, they all feel low haha! But this part of the room does drop down further than the rest. No wookies allowed I guess 🤷🏻♂️
