What marvelous people the Japanese are! After the traumatic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan technology arose out of the ashes, to dominate the industrial world. Great country, great people. Not even an atomic bomb could kill the Japanese spirit.
Japan: has a healthy structure of manufacturing businesses with thousands of suppliers across the country, securing employment for all skill / education levels *Eco-woke EU: systematically eliminating manufacturing through delusional "carbon" taxes, creating generations of "unemployable" people* . Edit: we just bought a Mazda, as EU-made cars have become an overpriced (and under-powered) joke.
Great vehicles ever since they got out from under Ford's hand. We've owned several since 2016, including friends and family. Currently we're enjoying a 2017 CX-9 GT. Only issue has been the very thin paint. It does not take much to chip at all.
Same here, we've been adding Mazdas back into the family since 2016 now that Ford is gone from the picture. The thinner paint can be due to their waterborne paint. It's not as heavy as oil base paint. We have very little chips on the passenger side door of our 2016 CX5 which is a odd location for rock chips. That's definitely something they should improve on.

I really like my 2021 Mazda CX 9 signature and the only reason I bought it was because it was made totally in Japan I think it’s a bad idea that Mazda is partnering with Toyota to build cars in the USA you’re gonna lose more sales most people buy your cars simply because they trust the Japanese people to do the job correctly that’s why I bought it and I’m American who no longer trusts American companies to do the right thing this is my first Non American vehicle in 45 years
(Needs tougher, more resilient paint) Mr Audet (CMO N. America), please bring the Mazda6 Wagon to the North American market. You (Mazda) are on a roll with the new '3 hatch, CX-30/5/9, so now is the perfect time to introduce the '6 wagon back to North America. Sure, the previous '6 wagon didn't do so well, ue to poor marketing, but the current ''6 wagon looks fantastic and as long as you make it fast (2.3t/turbo only), in Grand Touring and up trims, the wagon will sell. Ride the wave of longroof successes and bring the '6 wagon. I'd love one with three pedals, but neither MINI, Volvo, or Mercedes offers a manual, so I understand; however, it would be awesome. The wagon could be the new "MazdaSpeed6". All of the tech/parts are there, it just needs to be put together.
I just bought a Porsche Cayenne Turbo because I’m fortunate enough to be able to. But the 2021 CX9 Signature is a beautiful SUV. Their Crystal Red Metallic is one of the nicest reds on the market. My only problem is they don’t offer it with a V6. I find that a 4 cylinder is just too small for an SUV of that size.
buy CX 3 AWD and MX5. Both together are still lighter than the Cayenne ... With the MX 5 U have 6 Kg/ HP like in Your Porsche and the CX3 with under 9 KG / HP is still under the 10 kg/ HP - mark, can not be considered slow. Remember the NSU TT was called poor mans Porsche with over 10 KG / HP !
