Rehman Abdur that’s fair enough and all but they all still sound the same to me and because of that I got so tired of them and lost interest. They just don’t appeal to me anymore plus some of their lyrics are awful
@@betholivia99 that is true. I got tired of their voice, lyrics, style, rhythm beacuse I grew a habit of listening to to them every goddamn afternoon, evening,latenight, even early in the morning. So it gets so familiar that I don't want them anymore. I learned from my experience so I took a small break. This "Neon Moon" is the hammer that breaks my break. That is how,I guess, we cling to our loved stuffs,person's so on and forth!
Every song they have just makes me want to slow dance in the middle of a dimly lit room with the love of my life

@Skid Skid ya. Its a Brook nd Dunn neon moon country song cover.
Several reasons:
First, the lyrics are right on par with the theme that Cigarettes After Sex has become known for.
Second, they use REAL DRUMS! Almost every Nashville "country" song has some digital snap/clap tracks on the verses, which are so monotonous! CAS have real drums, let alone a simple 2-piece setup(snare, bass, and ride cymbal), and they don't do any fills. Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces" has drums and ZERO fills, yet it's a GREAT country song!
Thirdly, (and this is kind of a guess) as a Texas-based band, CAS are likely familiar with what REAL country music is about: Stories of love, sadness, adventure, living, and personal feelings. Any one of those elements can easily fit in a regular warm country song or a CAS song. And as demonstrated in this cover, the foundation of country music and the theme of CAS have a common middle ground and they can work together!
And a final note: This cover makes CAS far more country than Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, or Billy Ray Cyrus will EVER be!

What's crazy is that most of the songs they've put out where all "recorded" around the same time. Just check the description for every video. It's more or less the same date. This gives me shivers because it means they must have a whole lot of new songs since then. And maybe that's why their sound is similar in every song. They were made at the same time. Greg did say that the sounds going to change but only slightly, he's a believer of consistency. :p Can't wait for the 2019 album!
My husband has played all their songs to my children since newborn till now and this is the only music guaranteed to get my kids to settle and sleep, they ask for them to be played every night at bed time ❤

He played this song on our first night together. I had to hide my face in a pillow for a second so he didnt see me cry when I realized the song, because the original had alot of sentimentality for me, and I knew how much I cared about him that moment. Now I lay in bed remembering that night, and I dont have to hide in the pillow.

It hurts that this is as relatable as it is.
My cat passed about 3 weeks ago, during the night that he passed I listened to this. It still feels surreal, I keep thinking he'll come back, but I know he isn't. He was such a good cat, very playful and sweet. I hope he knew how happy he made me and how much we love him. He was only 7 months old, he was already recovering. I keep blaming myself for it, It's been so hard to avoid doing bad things to myself lately, but I think he wouldn't like me doing it so I suffer emotionally.
