first of all: happy birthday! i just wanted to pop in and tell you how much i love this chit-chatty nerdy bujo/calendar/journal talk. just relaxes me and has such a cozy warm café atmosphere.
Your husband was super sweet 🥰 first off, I have to say, I find it so easy to fall out of love with the Hobonichi Weeks. It's odd, I'll get super pumped about using it and then... nah. I am like you, very much a daily log person. My Cousin is truly my life book. I put everything in there, it is like my brain on paper 🤣 but for school and work, I find myself turning to my A6 Stalogy bullet journal. I just find it works so well. I set up my weekly pages just after my monthly pages and have the pages to do daily logs and it just works. Effortlessly. I use it for work and school and I have all the room I need. When I saw your video pop up, I laughed just because I am right there with you. The pull to come back to the A6, the daily pages... I get it. Oh and happy birthday!🥳
It sounds like you’ve got a great system! I love the weeks and I know I’ll go back to it but it just doesn’t have the same magic it did last year for me
i am so curious about the pocket size traveler's notebook (for myself) but i don't have a planner project for it at this time... I'll keep an eye out for one
Love it!! Happy belated birthday!! I'm so glad you jumped back into the TN. You get so much joy from it and it shows in your videos. I love my TN passport for my everyday an my Cousin for my journaling. If I have a daily thing or memory to add in the passport I just stamp a date and put it in. I don't need to worry about space or keeping up with my dailies like in my Cousin. Nothing has really gotten much love in the last month since I resigned from my position at work and am looking to move to another agency. However, I'm trying to get back in the swing of things again and reorganize my life.
I'm with you, except I have both an A5 and A6 Hobonichi, and a separate grid notebook for freewriting. I have the Maruman notebooks that have perforated pages so, if needed, I could write more than one page for a day and tape the sheet in, as it is just slightly narrower than the Hobonichi pages. I love the cuteness and portability of an A6 notebook, but I end up feeling a little bit cramped when I write. I use very extra fine Pilot fountain pens, but it's more the awkwardness. I also use the A5 daily schedule pages for task lists and I miss that in the A6. You seem inspired by TheCoffeeMonsterzCO, I think. Really I want a magical notebook that does it all, but I love all the notebooks! And Happy Birthday!!
I’m fairly new to the journaling scene. I love the passport size. So so perfect for me for very similar reasons you mentioned. Anything teeny weeny, I want. I’m still figuring out the inserts that work etc.. I would love to go to a journaling meet up.happy birthday
I recently jumped on board the TN Train and have the regular size and passport sizes with nice covers. Not sure yet how I will use them--probably more as a Commonplace Book. I am used to A5, but I agree that the passport size is just too adorable to pass up! Might use them as a purse planner in the future, after my current one is used up. Thanks for sharing!
Happy belated birthday Lindsey 🥳🍩 May I say that two days to eat the donuts is pretty impressive 😂 Couple of questions; firstly, do you keep a ‘scratch’ notebook for scribbling down your thoughts on the go before you write them neatly into your planners? Secondly, where do you write your random task lists, wishlists, and other collections? Sorry if I’ve missed the answers to either of these in previous videos 😊
thank you! for the most part my passport bullet journal is where everything ends up. I write in there a bit messier / real time and then I reference my daily pages when I fill out my cousin / passport journal. All my collections live in an insert in my passport bullet journal as well! hope that make sense
I love your videos, especially the Hobonichi 7 day challenge you took on. When you conditioned your TN, did it leave a weird... I want to say greasy feeling (like some lotions)? I would love to condition mine but I'm kind of nervous about it haha
I truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts- I am also in a cousin and TN and tend to ‘favor’ one and then the other! Where did you find your book/ journal shelf/stand?
@@margaritathurman5007 yes, here's the link sometimes these don't work for some reason. if it doesnt try searching wooden desktop bookshelf a.co/d/dCNepEs

Happy Birthday! Looks like we share a birthday. One day I hope to be consistent with journaling. And I love your mini art drawings.
Me too! March 1st 😄 And same consistency issues 😅

thanks for the birthday wishes! I always forget that taping in pages is an option
Grest video and happy belated birthday!
Thank you!
Great video 😊 Love the cousin cover. Does it lay flat? On the Baum-kuchen site they refer to it fitting the avec.
Mine seems to just fine. I have to give it a good squeeze for it to stay flat when closed if that makes sense

Having the same exact dilemma with my a5 cousin that i only end up writing on it at night 😅 i use a midori a5 for my ‘throughout the day journal’ 😊
I love the midori a5 paper! so nice to write on

it was surprisingly easy! If you have a camel I'd do a little bit of research first - this will change the texture if you want to keep it fuzzy!
