The first thing that pops up when you google Honda N600 manual is a scanned copy of the shop manual free for anyone to download. There is a lot of information available for the N600 online, I don’t know why you didn’t find a lot.
@@georgephr I was referring to the fact that he had an actual bound hard copy - not a scanned version. Agreed that electronic copies can be had relatively easy.
I had a home based business where I bought every 600 that I could find and rebuild them or strip them for parts. At one time I had 13 of them on my property and a few others stashed away here and there. The major issues with the 600s were the cam chain tensioners failing and causing the chain to jump and bending the valves. Crankshafts were also problematic. I quit working on them when new cranks hit $600. I imagine Tim Ming has found a solution to the crank problem
Nice job! I just bought a 72 Z600 and am hoping to start tinkering with it during the summer! First thought is get her up and running. Then modifications begin...ha ha ha!
Hey i know little to nothing about cars but i got a heart for this N600, do you think it would be possible for someone like me to completely fix the car. I dont care about the exterior or interior i just care that this bad boy runs smooth. Really would be a dream to put one together and drive.
Great work dude. Got 2 of these cool cars, bought first of them 10 years ago here in germany. Now I have to remove the engine by myself because the bearing at the transmission main shaft is fcked up. How many inches/cm you jacked it up at then end? Cuz you said some inches were missing at at the first time. Hope you get it all together again. Subbed for notifications :)
We ended up giving ourselves about 3ft of clearance in the end - makes sliding the motor into place with a jack and/or dolly underneath it plenty easy. Good luck!
Thanks Crub Cut, fellow New Yorker/N600 owner here, you helped me out big time. Definitely keep up the content!
Love to hear it! Hope to see you at a future shop event!
ive got one of these collecting dust in my garage. i know nothing about motor cycle motors lol. This is a big help :D
I can't wait for more episodes of this project
Tony Tirabassi Can’t wait to deliver them! Thanks, Tony.

Muskelmann!
Find it amazing you actually found the service manual for such an obscure model car. Love this channel.
Mike Gadoury It took a couple weeks! Hopped on the first one that popped up

Where do you have your shop at I have two n600’s I would love to get running
Brooklyn NY
You do know you can get the shop manual online for free. Right?
Well aware! You can also buy a hard copy like we did.
This thing still coming along?
Indeed! New episode coming VERY soon with A LOT of upgrades.
@@TheCurbCut Awesome! I'll be looking out for it. Hope to get an N600 one day..
Look at that. Like all bonafide air-cooled cars the engine comes out from the bottom.
Haha. Almost like a backwards Beetle!
The manual is online. But great work on finding a shop manual www.honda600coupe.com/Manuals,_bulletins,_advertisements.html
Noobtagger Nope WOAH! Great resource! Thanks for the share. Almost makes us regret what we spent on the hard copy. Haha
love it
