I have the Airmatic suspension in my 2022 E450 All-Terrain Wagon, and the standard Selective-damping Double-wishbone/multi-link/coiled springs suspension in my 2024 GLE450, and find no appreciable difference in comfort between the two. The non-airmatic standard suspension in the GLE is plush in comfort mode, and taut in "Sport" mode, in a good way, and will probably last for a million miles with no problems whatsoever. The Airmatic will allow you to lift and lower the car, and the ability to do load-leveling, but comfort wise, to me, there is no difference between the 2 suspensions.
I visited Mercedes Benz Princeton NJ today, initially i was going for the new GLA 250 but i fell in love with GLE 350. Am getting this for y Bday, this coming Oct 2022. I just cannot wait.
I never thought I'd legitimately be looking at a Mercedes Benz, in a serious fashion... But this one... this one is the one I want. (But, if I'm being honest... the Durango had been ranking for what I was going for...) Oh, and Deutsche qualiät! 👌
@@smitabradley6849 Owned it for over 10 months now. The only issue I ran into recently (last week) was the internal valve switch for the hybrid version causing engine failure warnings. As it was under warranty, they rectified within a couple of days. You shouldnt have these issues with the non hybrid. Even after the issue with the valve, honestly its a fantastic car, hellova road presence ( I live in UK), packed full of tech, and the smoothest ride ever. It will not dissapoint :)

I have a Toyota Sequoia / 4 WD .. 85 K miles Fully paid for .. Smooth as silk , Seats 7 , 4 Captains Chairs. 16 mpg .. Safe beyond belief . Got LED headlights and Foglights . No worries at $3.50 a gallon . Yup .. got roof rack .
The Mercedes seems to be the sweet spot between the Audi Q7 and BMW X5 but I would get the GLE 450 6 cylinder. The 4 pot on this heavy SUV might be too little and would disappoint.
I was always wondering how to lower the car to the lowest setting (-2) because (-1) activates in sports mode but I can't manage to lower it further. Is there any trick to it? Thanks
Not a fan of the black-out styling. It seems to be a way to create something new using a less expensive material. I prefer chrome over plastic whether it's metallic or black plastic. The black plastic does appear dull once it gets any amount of dirt or dust on it. I suspect this feature will date itself when it gets replaced by another material.
We traded an Acura RDX on a GLE 450 because I wanted to try a high end SUV . The vehicle is beautiful inside and out and drives like a smaller car than its 5000 lbs weight. It gets better than 20 mpg on premium fuel. We will see how dependable it is over time.
I must say this is the best GLE spec I've seen reviewed on RUclips! Absolutely glorious spec!! Red with black accent is really a beauty & it has so many options added as well which is really cool compared to other RUclipsrs & their cars are boring colors & not so many options added. BUT this!!! 😍🤌
They do. The way the pack the options make it impossible to configure the vehicle exactly how you would want it. It is done so in order to spend more in the end. I could not get mine with the wheels I want it for this very reason.
The base version of the GLE isn't really worth the $$. The Genesis GV80's base engine has more HP & torque standard & optional packages cost less to get it well-equipped or fully-loaded & it has a more distinctive interior
She's clueless. For instance she said the GLE has less cargo room than the Q7. That's not true. Q7 only has 69 cubic feet of total cargo space whereas the X5 has 72 and the GLE almost 75! The GLE has the most cargo room of the three. They need to get people to review cars who actually know what they are talking about.
Discount Bentley Bentayga for wealthy people wannabes. Would much rather have a Lexus or Volvo. Much more subtle and they have their own design language, instead of Hyundai's copycat design

The only differentiator between the 350 and 450 are the engines. This review would have benefited from a driving segment.

I lived it in person. Got a 350 and after 3 weeks traded for a 6.

I have a 2023 GLE coupe , only had it for less than a week , passenger side wiper not working . Little worry about the build quality .

I got cpo 2020 gle for 60k only 40k miles it’s hard to find 450 with amg package body kit, 21in wheel, carbon fiber looking on the dash.
