I think Windows 99 deserves some background information: As the new millennium was rolling, Microsoft was already with Windows 98/98 SE and is getting ready to work on Windows 2000 and ME, after almost a decade Windows 7 (I like to call “Windows 2009”) was released to the public, the operating system preformed very well except that people were experiencing issues with their PCs that they bought from Simple PC everyone now figured out they got pirated Windows, in response, Microsoft Vancouver made everyone line up at the Microsoft store in Vancouver to get a new Windows 7 disc for free. As the rise of Windows 10 in 2015 people experience more problems, and a pirated version of Windows was released, not known to Microsoft they did not released Windows 99 because they released Windows 98 Second Edition in 1999. So Microsoft told everyone to reinstall Windows 10. That did not work, Microsoft did not have a solution for 5 months so every system in Vancouver was buggy the most affected system was the SkyTrain, many trains were affected causing a system-wide shut down. Microsoft came up with a solution and told everyone with pirated Windows is to break there computers in 10 prices.
