Hi Ren was my introduction to the world of Ren. An unexpected treasure, hidden too well from the UK music scene. Im a child of the 70s, and i couldn't believe I hadn't come across him. So imagine stepping into that world and finding The Big Push. Just over a year later, and I'm still blown away by you all. I may have been late to the party, but I'm here now!

As an older man who struggles daily with CPTSD & its associated mental & physical health issues you have no idea how much your music & songs lift me up. Good job with keeping your cool, under technical duress. It happens! My last stream, I played the first song, SO extraordinarily well, with microphone off, and camera chopping off my head. Then a friend rang me, to tell me I had no volume, which totally rattled me...absolute chaos. 😀

@GorranKendall , there's a reactor called Vietnam-era Vet who's recently gotten introduced and is hooked on The Big Push. He just listened to What Kind Of Woman Is This and described your guy's music as honey that sticks to you and you can't wipe it off. He's in his 70's and a Christian man and just loves what he's hearing. I loved his description of the honey so I thought I'd share it with you.❤

TBP was an amazing interlude of musical exploration and I think it was something wonderful but it’s not always a good idea to go back and try to recapture what was and more so amazing to move forward and explore new horizons.
Your folk -ballad -story telling lyrical focus with your wonderfully strong voice and guitar and mouth harp stylings make for a memorable classic music experience.
Write, play, talk, do your stuff remain true to yourself and your ideals and I’ll be listening and enjoying tuning in.

Big Push is still my favorite band, but I'm sure you'll be successful elsewhere if you don't meet again, because you're also very talented and the audience loves you

I discovered Ren just over a year ago then subsequently The Big Push, but this was my first listen to you as a solo artist so was nice to get to know your own stuff too. Will be emailing for a copy of the CD and also hoping some Big Push stuff gets re-released on CD someday. If you ever find yourself up Manchester way (or if our paths somehow pass elsewhere in the world, you never know) I’d love to catch you live.
