In my opinion I do believe that Maya did step back for riley to be happy with lucas, but the whole identity crisis was a bunch of bs. I do believe that maya did have genuine feelings for lucas and as for him, he did to. You can tell when they look at each other and in their actions, that they have feelings for each other. Other's may say no but, I believe that Riley was just putting stuff in Maya's head just like Josh, when she had said she did not like lucas like that (I LOVE RILEY TO DEATH SO DONT ASSUME). And I still believe she is still stepping back because if ya did not see in the video she was quite sad that she just told someone who she can not like to go with her best friend.
