I saw him last night, at The Coach House, in Southern California doing a 50th anniversary 'Burn Tribute Tour.' His voice is still powerful, crystal clear, and impossibly unchanged.
Come Taste the Band really is underrated. I saw Glenn perform in Melbourne last night and he was phenomenal. Quite staggering anyone could perform at that level into his 70’s. I’ve seen him 4 or 5 times in the last 15 years … and he is actually sounding the best I’ve ever heard / seen him. What a delightful man and just amazing performer. Also, his drummer (Ash) was a monster drummer - he could play with one hand what it would take other drummers two hands to perform.
Great questions! Thanks especially for asking about a follow up to the Hughes/Thrall album. I would love to hear those recordings from 2000. I think that Pat Thrall is as much ‘involved’..in the lack of progress of getting for these recordings on the market. With the recent passing of Bernie Marsden, the sands of time are running out. C’mon Pat & Glenn

I would love be to see a Black Country Communion tour. I’ve seen Glenn twice and both times he killed it. So good.
Amazing conversation!
