I grinded the hatchet out on release and really dig it. A definite improvement. Great vid, didn't even think about crystallized yews, will be giving that a go since I'm about a mil from 120 wc.

I just want to see if there's a noticeable difference at Croesus tbh, I've mained wcing there pretty much exclusively since it came out because of how satisfying it is.
I've not noticed a significant improvement with the new hatchet there. I've got 1k+ WC kc there and was a little disappointed to be honest.

Did a little over 6 hours of elder trees. Was getting imcando piece every ~2 hours. Perfectly used up my scrimshaw and aura times.

when i was going for the hatchet i got it in 10 1/2 hour, dident crystalize trees used the scrim, got 2400 elders from doing this. going for 99 later without the scrim and using the cryst i got 1 pice for 3.8m xp
I found a lucky rabbit foot and skillcape boosted the scrimshaw's effect a LOT. I forgot to equip the former, and got *okay* Bird Nest drops but as soon as the others were equipped it was pretty fast nest drops.
Also make sure you don't have the divine acorns from the Div D&D enabled. Those replace nests.

The axe of time or whatever they're gonna call it which you combine the imcamdo plus crystal should be released.
It was super easy to get the imcamdo hatchet as long as you have the treeshaker scrim. I'm comped though so I'm used to long ass grinds.

You missed a quest to be able to create a crystal hatchet. Plagues end you mention, but that is only to be able to collect harmony dust. Then there’s a short quest you need to do to be able to create crystal tools.
There isn’t for the regular tools
From the wiki:
"It can be obtained by trading in a dragon hatchet, from either the inventory or the tool belt, and 4,000 harmonic dust to Lady Ithell, in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas."
And for the quest requirements, you only need Plague's end.
I kinda stop listening to these high level content creators and more or less started to look things up myself. They tend to leave out key information and make it seems like its knowledge that everyone should know.
@@hokiowTo be fair, high end stuff is usually not something you should be looking into if you don't know the basics first. It's good to look up information for yourself though
@sairentoeko No I get that, but if he's giving out information for things like this, you'd think he'd mention it even in passing. Maybe I'm wrong and he probably said it previously, but to what I understand when it comes to expensive end game items like LOTD or GOTE instead of stating how its made which takes all of 20 seconds to explain he just states that it's an end game item that cost 60m
One major perk over the imcando hatchet is that it isn't behind a massive washlist of requirements (that is, the entirity of Plague's End), while álso being higher tier than crystal.
foreal, with xp locks i can get the imcando on a lvl3 skiller account. imo why its already better
Well.. Their will certainly be a teir 90 hatchet soon.. likely by combining the crystal and imcando hatchet's.. especially if consistency is so important to jagex.
I guess if we want even greater hatchet to have will have to wait for the time and space tier when that releases in the future
Thank's for the heads up about being able to get it off the belt. Now I'll be ready to add a Water and Lightning Hatchet to my belt (or whatever it'll be called.)
if anyone is still grinding the hatchet, i recommend doing acadia trees first due to the reputation you need for phite club (soul runes)

Hatchet of Shadow and Flame.
Ever since the update I've been using my 20 teles for Elder trees to get some logs for my plank makers and was wondering which method would be best since Elders still aren't the best xp. So thank you for the info!
I was doing the elder trees daily until the 20 teleports were through. Then I switched to ivy and with the best aura everything best slot except scrim took 180 hours. I find this more than cheeky
Why didn’t we get a lvl 99 axe like with mining, kinda would be cool to add inca and Crystal together for t99

Because it was out of scope. Just fixing WCing code and balancing to enable hatchets to be their actual tiers (crystal used to be T57.5 under the old system) took a LOT of time. This was not intended to be the end of the WCing updates was designed to get the foundational issues out of the way. Now they can add mechanics and higher level hatchets.
i guess i got really lucky with my axe. bought 15 hours of scrimshaws and still had ~8 hours left on it
I actually didn't find it that long, got it in around 4h. Here's what I was using: Nature's sentinel, strung rabbit foot and superior tree shaking scrimshaw, dunno if I was lucky but I got nests at an incredible rate.
I just got my I’m a do hatchet and I’d say it took probably 50 hours overall. I split the grind up a bit but it really didn’t take very long. I was playing with a guy yesterday though who has only found one piece and has lvl 99 woodcutting. So if that says anything then your luck may vary.
Unless you plan to go above 99, Imcando seems nice to have but unnecessary for just a normal max level goal. I even forgot to do my harp dust for the Crystal hatchet when I hit 80. The dragon hatchet on acadias have been great xp through the mid 80s.
Can we combine the two hatchets like we can with the two equivalent pickaxes?

I've seen people have been unluck getting the hatchet. Got mine in 5 hours plus and additional hour for a 5th piece.

Some things (more high level orientated) just take time to get into and understand. Runescape has so many things going on that it really just takes time and experience :)
kinda seek help. i dont have the thing to get divine egg active but im still getting divine egg. i dont understand how i manage to apparently turn it on without doing the echo. i just did the echo to unluck it at memorial of guthix, activate it and deactivacted it, other than that i have no idea. if yall could help i'd appreciate it. thank you

I just want the Imcando Hatchet to complete the set: Pickaxe if Earth.and Song, Mattock of Time and Space and now the Imcando Hatchet.
I’m hoping in the future, the Hatchet will be upgraded like the Pickaxe and Mattock.
Calling it now - a drop from Necromancy, Zaros, corrupted Crystal, or the Shadow Realm + you need Inferno Adze.

got 3 imcandos on day 1-3 would say it´s better. compared: both logd behind quests and stuff. easy accsc stil d-hatch
I have a lvl lvl 19 crystal hatchet. with refined 4 and honed 6. is it worth it to change to incando, level it up now, or wait for some day some lvl 90 hatchet?
Equipment separate the gizmos and stick them on the Imcando hatchet for now.

well it's a higher tier, and crystal doesn't offer anything special that I can't get or get better with Imcando, so why wouldn't I upgrade?

My imcando luck was wild. Spent 20 hrs trying to get the first one, then got the last 2 within an hr.
Woodcutting is such a neglated part of RS. Ivy was the last thing they added that was any good. The rest of the stuff seems to be added with not much thought put into it.
I wouldn't say it takes a long time, Maybe 4-6 hours if you use the saws with outfit and rabbit foot. Crystal hatchet is about the same, unless you buy the dust from daily merch
Eventually there will be a t90 hatchet that combines both. Might as well get both crystal and imcando now

I think there is just something wrong with Elder trees in general tbh. It's kind of a weird mechanic to only be able to chop for 5 minutes, and then the xp isn't even better than doing magics???

Imcado hatchet takes a long time… me looking at the two augment hatchets I got in less than 8 hours in-game time augmented with perks

It's a conspiracy! Jagex said the levels should reflect the tier now, but i feel no difference...
Kinda disappointed with the rates, I thought they would do a 1:1 efficient rate, so a crystal hatchet at 70, would give 100% to anything below 70, and incamdo, would 100% anything equal or below 80. So Magic trees would have a better xp/h than yews, mahogany etc. So the future T90, if we ever get, would be a 100% to elder. But it seems we just did a small jump from acadia to mahogany and that's it.

It took longer to get the crystal hatchet than it did the imcando. In my personal experience anyway. Neither one of them took forever though.

Also i was super unlucky with pieces. I was like 97 before i finished a hatchet. Went about 40+ hours of cutting and like 150+ nests. First piece took me over 24 hours to get. Now i have a full hatchet and enough pieces for 2 more in bank
Ah use scrimshaws... 9m xp in without a second piece. I was starting to think it wouldn't be worth getting as I'll be 200m xp by the time it is completed.
Well … I would think of chopping bamboo more effectively with sharp crystal than with heavier hatchets and tools 🎋🗡️🎍
