On the 12th January, 2007, the Acela Express was going to New York station and collected passengers. Then it departed, at the other station nearby, the drivers didn't notice that the track switch was accidentally changed and it led to a giant accident. The accident resulted in 4x Acela Express cars were damaged, 1x Acela Powercar was also damaged, 2x crew members died, 45 Passengers are dead and they took the old passenger car to the scrapyard.
