This is why i like italian opening mostly .can turn into so many attacks and gambits such as maxlange, morphy, italian koltanowski,Greco gambit, and much more.great videos budd
I learn more and I learn faster from these videos than any others I have found on RUclips, and your enthusiasm makes the lesson so much easier. Thank you!
@Mahesa Mahottama ; if you don't have a memory for certain moves and positions; than try developing a general strategy and mindset when playing. If you play fast games, will be hard because than you need a certain routine to unlock certain reactions from the opponent that can lead to a quick dominant position. If however you play longer games, try this technique. I don't play chess in competition, never did, I don't like the competitive aspect but I learned my son to play, he is 16 and have a 2200 elo and still analyze games with him and work on strategies and techniques. 1. Take control over the middle of the board, so don't open with a pawn at the sides. In a classical perception of the game, the middle are the four middle square, but I consider it to be the 16 middle squares. 2. Develop your pieces with idea number 1 in mind, take control over the middle of the board. First develop minor big pieces, be careful with rooks and queen. Look to where your opponent is opening pawns and leaving spaces. You want to castle away from that side and launch your attack there. That is point number 3. Attack. Take your time. Don't be hasty, if your not playing blitz, you have some time to find the best move. Chess is war, don't be afraid for a smart sacrifice. If you can break his line , take out some pawns and maybe a minor piece, than a bishop and a horse might be worth it if you are castles and developed. if your opponent has problems in that department because he has been busy stitching the holes you cause in his defense, than you are almost won. And finding the correct or best move is not easy, sometimes even hard for a grand master.Their are 64 squares on the board, 32 pawns, there are a lot of possibilities... This is a general strategy that can help to some degree, but if you want to become better, there is no other way than to study some movements by hard that you now how to react in the best possible way when confronted with them Good players can take you down with a few moves just by gaining positional advantage in the opening with standard patterns that you need to recognize or you are lost before the game has even started...
You are fantastic Gunjan ...Please continue to prepare more Videos on Opening Traps ....I believe for everyone its always better to have a Video rather than buy a Book and go through which makes you tiring . Hello dear GJ, one another question : my opponent played with black : 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.d4 exd4 5.0-0 Nxe4 6.Re1 d5 7.Bxd5 Qxd5 8.Nc3 Qh5 9.Nxe4 Be6 i played 10.Bg5 (maybe that's not accurate !) he replyed 10...Bd6...11.Nxd6....i think it'sn
Dear Gunjen, thank you for your wonderful videos, because of all your videos I have improved in my game a lot in my game and defeat chess players on facebook
At 1:06, black's 6... move you show is d5 or f5 which would lead to a nice attack. However, if black plays Be7 then he is able to castle and attack fizzles out. Continuation being 7. Rxe4 d5 8. Rxe7 Nxe7 9. Be2 ....
I don't play Italian but rather spanish, exactly because of Two knights defence maybe I will give it a try after this video to prepare this special line against one of my club players ;) Thank you for this video you are doing nice work, stay motivated I think I should focus on my own analysis.:)
At 4:13 (move 13) you suggest Qd2, but 13...h6 will spoil the party for white. So better move would be 13.h4. (I think) I did analyze this position and found a very possible scenario that leads to a win for white. It's quite entertaining, so have a look at this: Consulting game white: Fritz+me , black: Fritz ; time: 5min for black 13.h4 - Bb6 (pinning the f-pawn, now the qeen can no longer be trapped, because she can now pick up the g3 knight) 14.a4 - 0-0 Let's target this guy.. 15.a5 - Nxa5 16.Rxa5 - h6 17.Ng3 - Qg6 18.Rb5 - c6 19.Re5 - hxg5 20.Rxg5 - Qh6 21.Kh5 - g6 22.Kf6+ - Kh8 23.h5 - Bd8 24.Rxe6 - fxe6 Let's try an exchange sacrifice - if it's wrong, we can take it back.. - so: boom! 25.Rxg6 - Qf4 26.g3 - Qxf6 Back off frogface! - aha! 27.Qd2 - Rf7 We don't take qeens.. 28.Qh6+ - Rh7 29.Rxf6 and absolute winnig position for white.
At 16:29 white should play Nxc6 and he'll be a knight up even if black captures the knight or exchanges queens, altough white will weaken his position a bit.
Thanks a lot for your inspiring videos. However, at 13:22, the bQ is not trapped after 14...d3+, but the position is much better for White, of course, since Black ends up losing the loose Bc5.
Hi GJ! I'm a fan of your chess videos... I have observe a slight mistake here on this video that i'd like to comment on... I don't think that the Black Queen is trapped after 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. d4 exd4 5. O-O Nxe4 6. Re1 d5 7. Bxd5 Qxd5 8. Nc3 Qa5 9. Nxe4 Be6 10. Bd2 Qd5 11. Bg5 Bc5 12. c4 Qf5 13. Nh4 Qe5 14. f4 because of d3+ right?
13:22. What if pawn d4->d3 and then we have discover check by the bishop on c5. If King goes to f1 or h1 then black queen can go to d4 or even capture pawn on b2. So after discover check I think that we should capture bishop on c5 with a knight and after black queen recapture knight we can capture pawn on d3 with queen. Is there a better continuation after this discover check?
at 11:20 .... after Nxb7, 1. .... RxQ 2. b7xa5 Ra4 threatening a5 & a2. A pawn down, but, retaining the mobility of one bishop. Not altogether, a lost position.
Gunjan, thanks for these vids. They are really nice. I've been trying these out now coz I'm very poor on theory and these allow me to play freely. But I've noticed that in some lines these games turn out to be really grueling end-games with your queen fighting against 2 rooks and a bishop if the move churned out is a different one than your expected move. And in the Qd8 line after Nxd4 (15:13), the rook has to be compromised embarrassingly after Pf4 or Bf4. Can you please extend that line for us with some more variations? Regards and .....thnx buddy!
At 3:54 you didn’t mention Bd6 by the black it’s actually a good response to the pressure and I can’t see anything better than taking with the knight which isn’t great anyway. Love your videos tho keep them up
hey, this is cool... thanks for the tricks. I was analyzing the Qa5 variation; after Nxe4 by white then by black Bd7: When white plays Bg5, f6 for black is safe since the Queen is not on h5!
***** could u illustrate some possible lines for Nd6+ sir,, maybe Nxf6+ is much even better or maybe i am missing something... TYVM for this another great series sir,, BTW, who do u prefer to win the candidates! Vishy or Aronian!? :)
Hi GJ>>> Great videos you make. i would like to ask you a question. I know this isn´t about the current topic "Morphy Attack" but have you ever heard about the Nezjmetdhinov-gambit in the Siesta-variation of the Ruy Lopez and played it? I ask because I don´t see it mentioned anywhere else than in Jakov Estrin´s little red book called "Gambit-play in chess". I know some would say this is old analysis or something like that or that it has been refuted. But these guys never come with any concrete examples. Maybe this is an old and forgotten gambit I don´t know. But I think it´s worth resurrecting it, as gambits are my preferred way of playing chess. If you should decide to publish a video about it, I would very much like to know and see it. :)
Seriously? There´s nothing mentioned in the material you´ve downloaded? That´s strange I think!! To tell you the absolute truth about this I found it in the old book published in 1982 I think it is, by Estrin, so this must be the first publication or one of the first at least. I don´t know if this gambit has a different name or more of them in different languages, but I know that in my native language Danish, it´s called the Nesjmetdinov-gambit and was published in Danish from "Skakcentralens Forlag" or in English "The Chesscentral´s Publisher/Publishingfirm" to give you some information to work with. Should later versions of the book really have been altered so much???? Or did Estrin or the Publisher choose not to publish it??? There are other gambits mentioned as well. If I remember correctly there´s also one in the Open Spanish called the Rabinovitj-gambit. The Nesjmetdinov however has similarities to the Schliemann-gambit/Jänish-gambit in the way that Black thrusts with the f-pawn. It´s also mentioned on the backside of Estrins book together with the Marshall-gambit of the Spanish as the book´s two main gambits of the opening. Strangely enough I doesn´t even seem to be known by the great chess-engines. Siesta-variation YES, but NO the the Nesjmetdinov-gambitlines. It doesn´t seem to recognize it at all, which I don´t understand, because engines are fantastic in attackingplay. And I think the Nesjmetdinov appears more sound than for example the Englund-gambit of the Queen´s pawn games so what does this mean? That the well-established theory has forgotten or overlooked it? Maybe. Now don´t think I try to play smart or something. This has actually wondered me for years. Nobody except me or Estrin himself seems to know about this. And here I thought it was common knowledge among chessplayers. But maybe not. I´ve also noticed that many don´t seem to know about the Steiner-variation of the Marshall-gambitlines too in the red book published by Bogdan Lalic. I hope you can get any further with this little information I have about the gambit, but please understand that it´s difficult for me to give you this information over e-mail when all I have is Estrin´s old book. But thank you for mentioning the other gambit in the Siesta-variation which I must admit I´ve never heard about. I´ll look it up to wise up on my gambit-repertoire... :)
In the 13:23 there is a way to protect a Queen.. how? Only after pawn d3 and check and only there is four options to protect white King one King H1 second king F1 third Rock E3 forth Knight f2 the Worst one why because he will lose knight and pawn In contrast black bishop
after 15 minutes and the variation 8.Nc3 Qd8 9.Rxe4+ Be7 10.Nxd4 my opponent played 10...f5 good move because it's attacking my Rook and i can't leave the 4 th rank because my Nd4 is attacked twice ....thank's for your advice ! greetings and friendly
Hi Gj. You are doing a great job. Very useful for me, and i believe for all of us that play chess in free time. You sure are someone who i can suggest to my friends proudly. I have one question. What software you use for the chess games? Thank you and keep going like this Smash this shit bro
What happens if your opponent doesn't capture the E4 pawn at the beginning? Say something like 1)e4 e5 2)kf3 kc6 3) bc4 kf6 4) d4 exd4 5)o-o then instead of kxe5 they play d5
how we can practice this game on our own because once we play with live buddy we can have strange moves then we get totally lost as we already scarified the pieces
If h6 in move 13 which is obvious.I respect your lectures GJ but you should atleast mention resources which opponent have as you know what is best via fritz
1 question, at 12:54 What happens if the queen captured the c4 pawn instead of pawn capturing the c4 pawn via en passant or retreating the queen to the f5 square?I'm just a beginner and I really don't know what to do in the Qxc4 situation
GJ Thank you for this great video! May I ask one question I had in mind while analyzing this attack: What happens if on 15:14 black moves his pawn to f5 ? Isn't the rook is lost? Just had a blitz with this exact position and lost it :-) Thanks!
Question: at 10:45, GJ says "no need to mention [black's] move f6, that leads to a disaster." I took a look at that position and did not see the disaster--and neither did Stockfish, which recommended that white respond Nxf6 and assessed the position as slightly positive for white. Would anyone care to comment further?
I enjoy the video, However, there are many aspects of the video that are pointed out by other viewers...and more...some aspects of the video are just not accurate in the conclusions reached..... from my perspective. Still, well done. And TY 4 the video.
sir gj if at 5:45 what if the bishop kills the pawn and the pawn sitting on g7 kills the bishop then it will be a folk by knight sitting on e4 and we can snap the queen.
At 14:22 you say if ...Rde8, then Qe2 is "exceptionally strong". But how to continue if black responds with ...Kd7 is my question. I don't see a good continuation here for white
This is why i like italian opening mostly .can turn into so many attacks and gambits such as maxlange, morphy, italian koltanowski,Greco gambit, and much more.great videos budd
This is a great example of aggressive knight usage and dancing. Excellent explanations and video, thank you for your teaching!

ACES you many blessings in the company of his family, never forsake us
I think i can learn from you. You're very clear and do not make it complicated
Thanks for Dirty Tricks series!
4:46 best move is Bg4, Bxe7, Bxf3, gxf3, Nxe7,Nf3. If instead of Nf3 Qxd4 happens then, 0-0, Nxf6, gxf6, Rxe7, Qxf3 and position is equal.
Thanks brother, I very much like your tutorial in derty chess analysis. Go on...I follow you consistently.
13:23 Black can move d3 and a check opens a space for queen in d4.
Actual trap is Nf6+ and grab the queen.
what does PGN stand for....these videos are entertaining, and informative !!!!
Hi GJ, could u please explain in 10:46 why F6 leads to disaster? I couldnt find a winning sequence for white
According to my engine, black is slightly better after f6. It couldn't find any good response, as with me.
11.Nf6+ gxf5 12.Bxf6 and then Black has to find a way to not lose.
After 12.Bxf6, Rf8 then black is 1 bishop up, when I played w/ an engine w/ all possibilities I believe black wins.
Amazing Tricks !!!How many part will you publish about dirty chess attack?
***** Thank you so much :)
I like your feedback :)
***** dear gunjay...what EVER u do..DO NOT DIE just make so more videos :) cheers
Really great videos! (3:48 if black plays Bd6 leads to draw, but for oponnets it's really tough)
At 4:13 (move 13) you suggest Qd2, but 13...h6 will spoil the party for white. So better move would be 13.h4. (I think)
I did analyze this position and found a very possible scenario that leads to a win for white.

16.Rxa5 - h6
17.Ng3 - Qg6
18.Rb5 - c6
19.Re5 - hxg5
20.Rxg5 - Qh6
21.Kh5 - g6
22.Kf6+ - Kh8
23.h5 - Bd8
24.Rxe6 - fxe6 Let's try an exchange sacrifice - if it's wrong, we can take it back.. - so: boom!

26.g3 - Qxf6 Back off frogface! - aha!
27.Qd2 - Rf7 We don't take qeens..
28.Qh6+ - Rh7
29.Rxf6 and absolute winnig position for white.
I seen this opening earlier in Paul Morphy's own game. I love the sacrifices at first and at the end black is dead.
HI Gunjan.Thank You for the wonderful videos. I like to see they every day.

Haha funny GJ XD

at 8:08, I think N* C6 would be a better option because then the pawn has to recapture and then Qd7 would be checkmate!
Great video, wish I could remember all of this lol.
At 16:29 white should play Nxc6 and he'll be a knight up even if black captures the knight or exchanges queens, altough white will weaken his position a bit.
I love how at 1:14 capturing with the horse destroys his whole attack. He need's to play some opponents who see this too.
Thanks a lot for your inspiring videos. However, at 13:22, the bQ is not trapped after 14...d3+, but the position is much better for White, of course, since Black ends up losing the loose Bc5.

I have one question. What software you use for the chess games? Thank you and keep going like this
Smash this shit bro
its chessbase bro
Awesome vid! Are there any traps if black plays his queen to c4 instead of the other 3 squares?
Thanks Gj......the video is really productive
Those tricks were impressive gunjan sir 👌👌
What happens if your opponent doesn't capture the E4 pawn at the beginning? Say something like 1)e4 e5 2)kf3 kc6 3) bc4 kf6 4) d4 exd4 5)o-o
then instead of kxe5 they play d5
a very good video indeed. can u please upload a good opening on black play .please
i love it when GJ calls me his friend
how we can practice this game on our own because once we play with live buddy we can have strange moves then we get totally lost as we already scarified the pieces
Thanks for all these lessons sir.
Same at 4.02 black bishop g8 to d6 is more aggressive and blunder move ... white has to save checkmate
Thx GJ
we just waiting for the last part of repertoire against E4 ; ruy lopez and giucco piano thx
If Qxc4 I guess Rc1 and after queen moves, then Nxc5 and you won the piece. You forgot to mention this in the video. 12:48
Laris I was wondering too 👍🏿
If Black take the the Knight with 15...fxe6, what should i do ? :(
Great videos. Thanks so much
Dear gunjan, at 10 : 43, can you please tell me how the move f6 leads to the disater of the black.just tell the move order
thank you very much very good ideas
Thanks for the video.. by the way at 10:45 what happens with f6 for black, how does white respond?
gunjen any dirty tricks against d4 opening? or against the sicilian?
at around 7.03 when both knights are at d4 and e4 black could go Bc8 in one go to save tempo.
gj pls make video "bobby fisher trap" with deep analysis I like all ur videos...
15:5 pawn f5 is the best move for black after knight captures at d4
gunjan do u have any dirty chess tricks against Sicilian Defence
If h6 in move 13 which is obvious.I respect your lectures GJ but you should atleast mention resources which opponent have as you know what is best via fritz
I can't keep it with this guy he's so good 👍
what if after the attack starts 1.d4 exd4 2.0-0 Nxe4 3. Re1 d5 4.Bxd5 Qxd5 5. Nc3 Qa5 6.Nxe4 Be6 7.Bd2 then black plays Qf5?
GJ, i've watched this video twice already to master this, but isn't it possible for the queen to go to c2 @ 5.15
Nakmansion Gambit is an insane alternative for some of u check it once
1 question, at 12:54 What happens if the queen captured the c4 pawn instead of pawn capturing the c4 pawn via en passant or retreating the queen to the f5 square?I'm just a beginner and I really don't know what to do in the Qxc4 situation
then rock to c1
GJ Thank you for this great video! May I ask one question I had in mind while analyzing this attack: What happens if on 15:14 black moves his pawn to f5 ? Isn't the rook is lost? Just had a blitz with this exact position and lost it :-) Thanks!
Then white should either play Rf4 or Bh6. Bh6 is a wild move where fxe4 Bxg7 Rg8 Qh5 and things get crazy
Hi GJ, at 11:20 if black does Qxe1+ wouldn't that amount to a trade where both sides lose a queen and rook? Thanks.
Dark square bishop black if not give e7 ,if he does d6,then what will do the next white play? Pls let me know
After 8. ... Qh5 9. Nxe4 Be6 10.Bg5 the main move is Bd6.
At 6.22 why rook cannot be captured by the pawn?
if the pawn captures the rook then Ne5 check with a discovered attack to the black queen and when pawn takes knight , QxQ and white is better
coolest vid!! really good if u can get it into action urself!!!
thanks for the series ... awaiting more ... :)
NICE WORK GUNJAN..
I enjoy the video, However, there are many aspects of the video that are pointed out by other viewers...and more...some aspects of the video are just not accurate in the conclusions reached..... from my perspective. Still, well done. And TY 4 the video.
at 10 : 43, can you please tell me how the move f6 leads to the disater of the black?
thanks gungan very nice video
regards Tejas Pessi
sir gj if at 5:45 what if the bishop kills the pawn and the pawn sitting on g7 kills the bishop then it will be a folk by knight sitting on e4 and we can snap the queen.
Excellent explanation
At 5:39 is not a clear exchange up because black has an extra pawn for compensation.
video instance- 5:15
What if black plays Qc2 instead of Bd4? Does the game end in 2 pawns v/s knight or is there a better continuation?
Hello GJ... Please send me your link regarding Ponziani Trap... Waiting for your positive reply... Thanks GJ... 😊
Hello Gj... in 3.54 minutes but the Bishop moved to d6 What is the best moves ....
Bd6 not Bb4
At 14:22 you say if ...Rde8, then Qe2 is "exceptionally strong". But how to continue if black responds with ...Kd7 is my question. I don't see a good continuation here for white
at 2:08: 8 ... Qc4; 9. Nxe4 Be6 and black has actually defuse the treat and play for the draw. Am I missing something ?
AT 3;11. when you say castling is the best option.. what happens if they black White square bishop to G4
Thanks for the videos
hi mate,at 3:01 y cant black h6 to attack white's dark square bishop??
At 6:00, why not Be7? Blocks check and reinforces the pawn on f6.
very very nice.... I really like your video's. and its mean a lot for me as beginer. thanks...
at 15:15 what if the black move pawn to f5? what's the best move for white?
You are brilliant!
Thanks! your lesons very helpfull. You play on chess.com? What is you nickname on chess.com?
At 6 minutes why can't the B7 pawn capture the rook?? Sorry if the answer is obvious I'm a beginner forgive me
Knight to e5 check, then queen captures queen
+KingOfCool thanks
what to do if knight don't capture e4 ..?? then it's terebbel for white..
