Congratulations on the wedding! You've been my favorite Sentinels content creator and it's good to see ya hitting those big milestones! Anywho, it's kinda funny how Legacy has for the most part stayed the same and thus it's more how the Hero/Villain decks have changed around him that help redefine his standing. I tend to play solo, but I do appreciate the sticking point people can have if doing multiplayer and one person plays Legacy. He's more of an acquired taste, even for those who want to play supports I feel.
I will state my opinion that it says a lot that people can do full setup turns, and legacy competes against that with just draw and play. He has a slightly streamlined deck but all the "speedups" in definitive are wrt setup, and ultimately setup was incredibly incredibly incredibly underpowered in enhanced. Discover, Summon, Collect, Salvage exist to enable all the cool setup characters you want in the game without their cards starting to look like mtg/yugioh cards, with a giant pile of words that aren't actually what their cards do. And setup characters are cool, so i argue the game is better for that. He's a lot like Ra in that way, he has no gimicks. His best ability is his power, he's just really really good. Other heroes need to play multible cards a turn to get on legacy's level, and i'm glad that one of the games strongest heroes is just "play, power, draw, pass".
Galvanize is honestly amazing the best inate in the game. This one inate is allowed me to ult hunt every base villain: and take down De Critical event Fey Court without any back issues by boosting Expatriate's lethality. I wonder if you will do a similar vid for Iron Legacy once he's out.
minor correction: Non-hero allies like the security guards, Megalopolis cops, and Unity's golems no longer benefit from Galvanize as they aren't characters. If I'm remembering the wordings correctly. I also experiement with some Legacy changes, but my main one is giving Legacy Ring a card play when first played. But most of all, congratulations!
"Ally: Target of your type (Hero, Villain, Environment) other than yourself." They're all Hero targets, either being in a Hero deck or specifically classified as Hero targets despite being in other decks, so they should be affected.
@@ProfArmitage218That's incorrect because Legacy's power specifically says ally *characters,* not allies. If it was just allies, then you would be correct since cards like Heroic Intervention and A True Hero say allies in their text, meaning everyone gets the benefits, but ally characters refer to the other Hero character cards, therefore only they would be affected.
Surprised to see you don't have any vids on the new Freedom Five board game yet on here. Would definitely be interested to see you review that game as well
I know I want the art at the very least, but I have not had the opportunity to play, not the least of which because my copy hasn't shipped yet and I don't like TTS.
8:37 Yeah, that’s a Legacy turn. I don’t really enjoy Legacy because his turns have such little variety. I didn’t realize he had none of the new action texts. He’s just too old school for them I guess-🪷
6:14 it’s such a clever card name. Legacy has 2 sorts of keen vision, the actual (represented by the card draw) and the metaphorical (represented by the power usage). It’s a clever card that reflects one of Legacy’s big personality traits, he sees the good in everyone.-🪷
3:00 that I disagree with. Bulletproof skin has to be weaker since they take a similar thematic and mechanical spot but it is objectively stronger on Legacy because of lead from the front being more consistent than Haka’s similar card (Tiaki defender I think is the name).-🪷
2:41 yeah, something really minor though since what it usually does is change you from using base power to base power + 1 other. Maybe heal 1 hp each round as Legacy remembers their legacy and stands up ready to fight again-🪷
1:58 not only broken but also weird thematically. It could have been something to do with eye lasers but damage type immunity? Legacy line… never got that and in the thematically rich sentinels where almost everything a hero can do even in combos has logic this card is just weird-🪷
4:47 given how little the environment actually deals damage with its targets this card is one of the most weakened cards by no fault of its own. It’s new power is really nice though-🪷
4:04 I usually play that you can, but never thought about the idea you can’t. I think I’ll stick with playing you can because it feels better and puts it in line with isolating mists-🪷
5:30 still niche but it’s much more flavourful. Even restoring “when the story needs it too” now instead of restoring instantly. It has saved Legacy a few times in higher player counts though-🪷
No video for October, darn.
*Explains they are getting married*
( 0-0) Yo, nice, very understandable. Congratulations.
Congrats on the wedding

Gratz on the wedding.
Another great video! Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!

Congratulations on getting married! 💍💍
Great analysis. Can't wait for the new expansion

Just looked at the terms. I think you're right. They are allies but not characters, and Galvanize specifies characters.
And thank you

@brianlewolfhunt ahh okay. I forget that they are still shipping copies. My mistake.
Legacy is my favorite hero to play. There are times that Legacy comes in clutch and wins the game. Thank you for Sentinel content.
Congrats on the Wedding!
5:19 it would be yes-🪷
Congrats on the pending nuptials!

You make a good point there.

Legacy didn’t change too much but some of the changes are huge and others are just flavourful so I’m excited to see what you say-🪷
