I may not have read the comic of this storyline but I do gotta say that Hawkman looks cool especially his weapon and wings despite Todd not giving more accessories like including a flight stand for every flying characters and or putting extra heads and hands in the box, Great review.
That version of Hawkman was more native American based, hence the longer black hair and the tassels on the gloves. I've always had a soft spot for this design.
I really loved the New DC Multiverse Hawkman! Most Impressive and Brilliant working Masterpiece by Todd McFarlane so far! I'd enjoyed the Video as always! Thanks Spot once again for Sharing! 🤩🤩🤩👍👍
Today I just bought Mongul. Not so much because he´s a MEGA figure but because I like the character and it was for sale. So glad I´m not into those. As far as regular characters that I like and want to own Hawkman is one of them but I want him in the Variant version. That being said, if it ends too difficult to find or expensive I´ll settle with this one. Now McFarlane, you already have several wing molds...please, PLEASE, make a Pre New 52 Zauriel.
Doesn´t make sense that: 1. McFarlane chose, of all versions of Hawkman, this one, 2. That the most Classic Hawkman is the Platinum. I would have: 1. Make the Classic as the regular. 2. For the Platinum the JSA version. The one where he wears more so a regular helmet and the one that has wings and neither beak.
Meant to say that the helmet as no wings. That way people could have had options AND people might have wanted both. One for a JL display and another for a JSA display.
One of my fave figures! A flight stand would not have withstood the extra weight, IMO. I found that the best way to display him is to bend him slightly at the waist and use that side's wing as a "third leg", effectively a natural stand. It only works if you don't try to use both wings, as it makes things look awkward. The mace gets held in the opposing hand for balance. Also, this is Katar (Carter an alias Earth name), and until Johns he always had black hair.
Review Spot, are you Canadian because I watched one of the videos including the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror 2011 video and the package has French language and English language.

another awesome review. what is it about all these mcfarlene dc toys that look so hunchbacked? or heavy in the shoulders? Leaning forward?
