Thanks a lot! It's not that i don't like hard 3d, it's simply that i can't do it - I'm not good enough or fast enough so for that reason alone, i can only respect it. Fact is, it's taken me years just to be able to fly like this, so every flight for me is just sheer joy - i like to see it fly....... not have a bout of epilism, in front of me. ;-)
Wonderful smooth and brave at the same time flight with another good looking helicopter! She looks so nice in the air! I would be probably more than just a bit intimidated by these huge rotorblades in sword size as I feel already a lot of respect in front of my biggest heli with 420 mm blades. It's probably a matter of time and going is smal steps until you feel comfortable with such a monster heli! All the best and greeiting from Poland where it is raining as well!
I think you'd be surprised Mathias - I think you could very easily fly a 700 now - you have the skills and the muscle memory and the 700 is far more forgiving than the smaller helis but.......................... as you say, the 'squeaky bum' factor is much, much higher with the bigger helis.
oooh! What car are you driving I wonder, bit of poppy banggy going on there. Very well said and great flying, enjoyed that. I took my RC plane out for a flight for the first time in 12 months, bought a new battery as the old one was dud. Lost signal for some reason and it broke apart after hitting electric wires. Couldn't find the battery or the receiver. So that's another dead plane, Ha! The blade 400 is still operational but in order to keep it that way probably best not to fly it. Dam it takes some persistence to get to where you have. A lot of people flying their DJI's would have no idea what it takes.
Nice flight! Now you made it even harder not to buy one. Just started with RC helis and haven't assembled a kit of my own yet. Been looking at the 760X F3C kit for months as it seems to somewhat affordable compared to the alternatives and you just shown it flesta well to.
Align are a good heli - I would start you off on the 550x if you were determined to start on the med to large sizes otherwise I would always advocate joining a club, sim time and a smaller heli of a 200 size - the 230s being my favourite but, omp or goosky 2 series is exactly what you really need nowadays.
@@HeliShed I'm flying an old SAB Goblin 500 today that I bought secondhand. But I do love to understand how everything comes together and work. That makes me look at kits. 🙂
Hi, friend. I am returning to the helicopter hobby after almost 15 years of abandonment. Everything has changed. Many stores have closed, many brands have disappeared, my helicopters (Hirobo sceadu and Freya) are no longer manufactured and spare parts are very difficult to get... and to begin to orient myself I would like to ask you a simple question: If you had to buy an heli to compete again in F3C, what would you buy today? I would greatly appreciate some help
Beautiful! Nicely done sir!
Thank you!
Amazing machine. I don't fly 3d, so it's nice to see the heli flying like this. Superb, those movement's❤

@@HeliShed Well that's not a usual runaround. Very fast car. Reckon I could still take you in my hilux though.
@Ben-Dixey lol - mate it’s monstrous!! I wanna fly your field in summer! Collab or something?
@@HeliShed I would love that, it would be fantastic to meet you, it wouldn't take you long to get here in your Audi. 😆
Right you're on pal - we'll sort it!@@Ben-Dixey

nothing better than buying a kit pal and for that in my view, there are no better kits - value for money and reliability, than align.@@Daniel_SWE

get yourself a T-Rex 550x, reaquant with your thumb skills and then move from there. Welcome back!!
