Gonna be honest, I think Realism is the cancer killing GMod. Nowadays, the workshop is flooded with the same boring old tactical stuff. It's not bad by no means, but I just feel like it isn't Garry's Mod. Where did all of the soul go? It also makes it harder to find other cool stuff.

Ah yes "realism" where the protagonist is a one man army killing npcs that do not fight back most of the time, and if they do they barely deal any damage, yet they die easily. So much for tactical or realism. This is the second worst trend right after the one about how source games are scary and liminal.
I believe “realism” has become an umbrella term for anything action/cinematic related to gmod. Atleast thats how i see it and use it.

Most of the time it boils down to Modern Warfare Base + a bunch of graphics mods.
