Because demons were incredibly weak before, and since their only gimmick was tavern consumption, it was a good buff.

I wonder how that end game would have gone if he kept buffing demons with the felbat instead of making 4 of his minions scam and only scaling 2.
Big demons don't do particularly well vs scam units. Just need 1 to trigger the cultist (which is good vs scam because it can kill a poison and then spawn a body) If we don't run Leeroys the reborn is a lot weaker and we probably just lose.

Just put a bumper. Two if you are really scared.
@@krak.head.arttist Not so much skill as it is boring to play, and you feel forced to play it. Especially with undead in, since you can build scam boards that top almost all boards. I hate myself every time I sell an invested minion with huge stats for a scam minion and see so many lobbies with the first place being scam. Scam to be should be something to get second place max and Leroy is too good at making scam get first place. Shady board was exactly what I was afraid of when I saw Leroy was back in, along with the undead reborn.
