Thanks for the love you put into your synth. I love those. So flexible. Whether in the studio or on tour. One thing is for sure, they have an unbelievably fat sound. Keep it up!
Ich habe damit gespielt. Geht viel tiefer als erwartet und klingt großartig! Got to play with it a bit. It goes much deeper than expected, and it sounds great.
WHAT a sound !!! Dreadbox did it again ..... My God its HUGE sounding , Yeah- im completely obsessed with the DreadBox Oscillators and Filters ! This will look JUST fine , beside my NYX, Erebus, Medusa, and two Typhons !!! -
Nymphes is really amazing synht! So many possibilities in a little box. And that sound comming from her.. Dreadbox is living legend and Yannis is god of sound from Olymp! I love their machines!
I get some CS-80 vibes from the sound! Can anyone point out what is the stand used for the synth? I seem to remember coming across these somewhere but I can't remember the brand...
@@onedrumcomputeraday196 Lol...though it's not such a difficult riff, for some reason I have a hard time playing it...it's just not a normal sequence of notes my fingers are used to. It took me longer than expected to learn, and I still screw it up quite often.
Oh man, 16 minutes in when they use the Keystep to sequence it - that was dope. They should do that in the demos more often. Shows a whole other side of this thing.
Very interesting synth. I know there are some parameters from this synth that you can not control from the synth it self BUT you can do it with Midi CC ... I wonder which parameters are they and if you can assign them to any CC you like or are they Preconfigured.
Was there a demo of the chord memory functionality that I missed? I've got a preorder in already but that's what I'm probably most excited about, combined with the rest of the features.
Someone at Thomann has to propose to Dreadbox, to offer as accessories rack ears for Nymphes and rack ears for the future Abyss II. Thanks for the video!
... it looks very well done and congratulation for the preset possibility! (because it is for example more easily transportable than the mks50 and its controller) ...BUT JUST A QUESTION THAT SEEMS IMPORTANT TO ME for a contemporary modul: the effect part is it stereo? and can we recover this signal by the headphone jack ??? is the sound spectrum absolutely mono? or can we give a stereo dimension ???
As far as i know the second LFO can be mapped to every panel parameter if you choose LFO2 in the Menu. Than the Faders become attenuators for the second LFO.
@@fratariensis Nice - What is appealing about this synth is that it literally has no menu diving as there is no menu screen to dive into. More like menu surfing.
I just wish it had chorus, it's so weird having a 1xOsc per voice synth with built in reverb but not chorus. i feel like they could have had a decent chorus on the DSP chip as well, or an analogue chorus for the same price as the DSP chip. It's a shame as it feels like it's very close to being a modern Juno killer in some ways.
If you add the TC Electronic June v2 pedal you'll fix your problem completely. Stereo Juno chorus. Just don't get the old version,it was too fast and voiced for guitars
Those demos are very nice but they are all the same, playing very ethereal sounds, vangelis type stuff. We never got those funky bass, synth brasses etc. This synth can do it, so come on: show how it sounds completely!
@@Matt-Horizon because they went political, pretty much demonized men and stated that playing this synth would sooth abused women's pain (as if men and children weren't victims of abuse) The usual "smash the patryarchy" shit.
This is really exciting. This is the first proper video on the Nymphes. Thanks for sharing it!
The demos are getting better and better. Giannis is a genius. So happy i preordered one, and i can not wait
Just bought a Typhon. One of the friendliest synths I've worked with.
Love your product Dreadbox! I am the proud owner of 2 Dreadbox Abyss!
I love the LFO fade and the key tracking of the resonance to create a sine wave. This video shows how much deeper the Nymphes is than it first seemed.
Sounds great
I was thinking of getting a JU-06A but after hearing this, I think I will just save up a little more and get this instead. Sounds great!
Exact my situation! Nymphes looks great
get both ! - theyll sound so sweet together ! - The Juno is a 4 or 6 voice ???
@@MikkelGrumBovin The JU-06A is 4 voice. the Original Juno is 6 voice
I want to love it, what a sound, but I’m struggling with the “button dial slider button” repeated action.

Must. Have. THIS!
Fantastic little synth, only downside seems to be lack of patch memory, unless I'm mistaken?
98 presets. 49 factory and 49 user presets. Sounds sweet! I just want something hands-on, and this looks great.

I've had this thing on pre-order for ages. When's it gonna finally ship out to the dealers?

how are you connecting them? can't follow the cables :)
Can the LFO be clocksynced via midi?
wow.
question - are modulation connections done by toggling faders of source and destination? Sort of a virtual patching?

Without seeing the circuitry under the case, there seems to be so much wasted real estate on the upper left portion of the control surface.
