Hi TheGrimbarianBrewer Unfortunately not. You could investigate purchasing a thread repair kit; Rethreading with a Kit: Use a thread repair kit to rethread the hole. This involves drilling out the hole to the next size, tapping it, and then installing a new drain plug. This would be the first thing I would try and if that does not work then look at replacing the sump. Thanks for watching
I did my c3 picasso, if I'd done it wrong, I located where the little extra bit is with oring, but any time you first work on a car as a novice you second guess your work. Would I know by now if its been on there for at least 7 runs now.
Hi @Adam2050 If you had not located the peg/lug on the oil filter into the housing correctly then you would have low oil pressure, as indicated by a flickering or permanently on light on your dashboard. If you have been for a drive a number of times and not seen any warning light on your dashboard then you should be good. Alternatively, you could always remove and then refit the oil filter again to double check. Thanks for watching
Do you have any videos on how to replace the oil sump pan? My sump nut rounded off the old one and tried a new one and won't tighten up.
Cheers
