Matrakci finishes his inspection in the sanjaks and gives a report to Suleiman. He tells him the incident about Selim but hides Bayezid's and Mustafa's mistakes. Meanwhile, Selim believes that Bayezid has got him in trouble. He writes to his father a letter blaming Bayezid.
Mustafa doesn't send Nisa away despite Sparrowhawk's and Mahidevran's warnings. He gets married with her at cost of his future. In the meantime, Atmaca gets shocking orders about Mihrunnisa.
Bayezid goes to the capital secretly to be able to see Huricihan. Suleiman learns the truth and goes off the deep end. Huricihan appears before Suleiman and gives him a present. This present gets Suleiman face with his past.
Fatma aims to break Rustem and Mihrimah's marriage. Rustem looks for a way to get rid of Barbarossa. A sudden message Suleiman receives weighs him down.

Hatice and Fatma married for love although Fatma later fell out of love. Beyhan also seemed to love her husband. It was only Şah who didn't like her husband from the start.

Mihrimah is another character that got wasted in this season which is shame cause in season 3 finale episodes she sent badass mode only to be reduced to a pretty face with barely any brain always following her mother’s and Rustem plans
but that is understandable she was raised being told she's not like other sultanas, that she isn't a slave and will be allowed a love match, but had to readjust her world view soon after to protect her family. plus its expected in such a strict environment for a bride to not act like she did before marriage.

In this series, they do not show how great the influence of mihrimah was in era of her father. It will be more interesting if they show how mihirmah convinced her father about campaign and do diplomatic relationship with other country rather than plotting dirty game.
