Had Taylor Sense in my 712e; it's fantastic/well worth the money. Wish more brands offered tech like this.

After a year I know my Taylorsense consistently reads 7-9% too high. I verified this with 3 other hygrometers. I contacted Taylor and then Blue Stream for a software update. Months later: nothing. I just have to live with this rather common problem.

I had the same problem, my TaylorSense was reading about 10rh points higher. I recently contacted Taylor and they put me in contact with the developer (Blusteam corp) , they contacted me two days later and walked me through the process of calibrating my unit. It now reads 100% accurately in comparison to my other room and case hydrometers.
Give them a try again, they were very responsive for me and got it resolved in a few days.

Does anyone know, with so many inbuilt capabilities, do these systems offer location tracking as well?
If not, that singular addition might make this the perfect accessorial-addition to ANY high-dollar acoustic!

Just got a Taylor 414ce V about a week and a half ago. I’ve been keeping it in the hard shell deluxe case standing up always in an area where it’s usually neutral upstairs. But I’m always wondering if it’s ok. Wonder if I can pick this up somewhere nearby

Wow after I just noticed my guitar's neck/fretboard is permanently damaged from low humidity this appears.

We all need to stop worrying about our guitars and play the darn things. Use common sense and you'll be fine. If you really screw it up while using it you have an excuse to buy a new one, but in my experience it will get stolen, stepped on, or dropped (while you are holding it) before you have to worry about something happening while it's tucked in a case. I can't wait for the second hand buyers to want a print out (carfax) of your used guitar's history. We live in the golden era of guitars, enjoy it.
