  • Rather than a normal game review this month, I've delved into one of the topics that fascinates me most: mental health in gaming.
Using mostly Hellblade: Senua's Sacrafice, Flower, and Abzu, this video delves into the past and present of how gaming has interacted with mental health - for better or worse - and considers what the future may hold.
This is part of the series about the games that made me a gamer which I will be adding to across this year.
No Star Review for this video, all of these games are perfect the way they are!
Warning: this video discusses such topics as depression, psychosis, and bereavement. Watcher discretion is advised.

    **Spoiler**
Did you know the *rot* on Senua's arm, wasn't actually going to perma kill you(as it was stated)? It was there for the psychological effect. They really outdid themselves.

I did learn that a long time after I completed the game! It really added to the panic! I wonder how it would have changed the game if
      A) I had known there wasn't a perma kill when I first played it
      B) if they had actually included the mechanic in the game
