- This is my second day at Algodonales. We flew twice and this is the first flight of the day.
Thermic conditions took me to 1600m above sea level, about 800m above launch. I am still getting used to height and flying in thermic conditions. Being high and in thermic conditions can be scary because you are so out in the open.
I pushed out into the valley to see if I could find a thermal, but there was nothing but sink. There were no clouds, so there was no sign of active thermals being formed.
I found some lift over the landing sight and took that up a few hundred meters, but I didn't find anything to link it to, so decided to land.
Congrats on the record. Hard to get the full sense sitting here but seemed sketchy when it got turbulent
I think it has to do with exposure. It might be a good idea to fly in and out of turbulence. This way I can control my exposure to it and stretch, not panic
I reach 2.200 m some years ago.
Oh, a red Phantom 👍
It's really nice
