I was refused by Sweden, This is the reason, justification for the purpose and condition of the intended stay was not provided.. I don't know what to do or what they meant.

You're welcome.
You can technically apply right away, however, remember that you’ll have to show evidence to overcome the refusal reasons. If the refusal reasons are not overcome in an application that is filed right away, you risk refusal.

4 years is a good amount of time to remedy a previous refusal, you may want to look at the reasons for refusal and see how his situation has changed. Hi Jade, I was invited by my BF last year to visit Canada and provided me an invitation letter. I applied for TRV and I got refused due to hometies, financial. I am planning to re-apply, can I re apply for TRV and address the refusal but I will not include his invitation letter. Would that be okay?

I reaplied 6 months later after my refusal. That time, no more invitation just pure independent application. Thank God, I got approved. I am on my 3rd visit in Canada now. 😊
@@BlueberryTwilight I'm going this through, I invited him initially and they refused it even with a lot of documentation, saying they weren't convinced he would leave even tho he has a daugther there and cares for his mum (lives in his home). Feeling at a loss ...am going to try to reapply in January but would love some more advice. The officer notes gave no more information than the generic application refusal -was the exact same information so that seemed like a waste of time. They never spelled it out at all. It was like an autoreply gurgitating the exact same info

@@macouerced I'm sorry that you're going through it too, although you have so many reason to visit and you should be able to . I tried consulting a lawyer too but the fees is so high to go with a lawyer and reason is definitely "Vague" they said. Know that you're not alone. I haven't tried applying yet again because of India/Canada relations are pretty bad at the moment. But hope things improve in time! What country did you/him apply it from?

Work permit processing is done according to your local visa office where you applied, you can check the processing times online on the IRCC website. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html. I will note, however, that COVID has delayed processing and some countries are experiencing additional delays due officer rotation at government offices.

Open work permit processing times vary. If you are applying for an open work permit, it depends on your country of residence. Therefore, in your case, HK is currently taking 11 weeks. For a spousal sponsorship application, 1 year is standard processing.
