@[0:52] = *_Vixen 357:_* @[7:31] = *_Warsong_* (Langrisser 1) @[15:07] = *_Lord Monarch:_* @[16:29] = *_Langrisser 2:_* ...Controversial opinion, but for several reasons, I would say that *_Shining Force_* probably should have been included in this list ? ...1st is because of so many similar elements with the above games: Vixen 357, Lord Monarch, Langrisser 2 & Warsong (Langrisser 1). ...2nd is because eventho it has a story, I still think it's primarily a "Strategy" game in the same way that *_Final Fantasy Tactics_* & *_Ogre Battle_* are also primarily Strategy games. ...And finally, when you look at the romhacking communities, it can give you an idea because, you'll see the *_Final Fantasy_* romhacking community, for example, actually creating new stories (because it's an RPG) whereas the *_Shining Force_* community is tweaking the game mechanics for more difficult strategies, because it's primarily a Strategy game: Albeit, a "Strategy RPG", but still a Strategy first & foremost. Honestly, the Library of RPGs for the *_Sega Genesis_* is so small that I frequently see people try & include the *_Shining Force_* games into the RPG category in an attempt to artificially inflate its numbers. And they'll do the same thing by also including all the "Adventure RPGs" as well. When honestly, these are not going to satiate someone's desire or fixation to play a Traditional JRPG (imo).
