*Håfa Ådai* ("Hello" in our native CHamorro) from the Western Pacific island of Guam! I so love all of your videos here! They are so relaxing to watch as well as educational with respect to this medium. Your pieces are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge! 🌴✌🏾😎...peace, Florentina
You're so creative. Always enjoy your tutorials. Great color choices. Your techniques are so easy to follow with the tips and explanations. Thanks for sharing your talent!
Love your scrappy squares - something I do often and sometimes get interesting results. The way you did your bails really adds to the pieces. Beautiful! Your videos always interesting. Thanks Kathryn! LOL, I have a kitty who likes to pester me when creating also.
This is the second time I've watched this and held my breath while you were gently rolling those black pieces over.... 🤣 These look stunning, the true beauty doesn't show until they are baked though, I don't have the metallic colours in premo, so will definitely buy some soon as there are a few other things you've done with similar colours I love too. Thanks so much for all the tutorials, you've given me many hours of play and many more to go I am sure. 💐💐💐
I am new to polymer clay and have enjoyed your tutorials. However, the most important lesson I have taken away is the one about waist. I had a boatload of bits and pieces accumulated in a short time, simply by not planning my projects and consider waist. Thank you!
Hi Kathryn, another question for you. I bought quite a bit of sculpey III, did not do my homework on clay first. Have not read many good reviews on sculpt III. My daughter bought me Fimo, can i blend the two together and still get a good result? or should i not use the sculpey at all.
Hi maggie I've had no issues mixing it but it was for bead cores so i wouldn't like to comment on its overall strength .... maybe mix just a quarter part in some scrap and test its strength ?
These are really pretty and I love the quality of your work. Can I ask where you got the glass mat you work on? Are the measurements on it or is that a mat underneath?
Hi Linda, its a Tonic Studios Craft Mat, yes all markings are printed on. mine is a Tim Holtz branded one, but there are lots of glass craft mats in lots of sizes just have a google xx
Please remind me, why do you use acetone on your brush before using the resin? Does it help make it spread out better? (I always have trouble getting rid of tiny bubbles, even if I use a heat gun or lighter).
Hi Helen it just stops you adding more air bubbles if the brush is damp and acetone won't interfere with the resin, make sure your surface is spotless, use a bit of alcohol, and let it sit for a minute before you cure it. Hope that helps x
Hi Kath, ive been watching your videos for a while and you have inspired me so much. I wondered if we could have a private chat, im not sure the best way the reach out to you, but i have an idea that you might like 😁
Sorry, but I think the finished pendant is way too small to be the dramatic statement piece you could have had if you didn't cut away so much of the mokume game you worked so hard to achieve ! That pendant is going to get lost against a blouse or sweater.

I hate waste, and if you’re careful there’s very little scraps xx
I miss your tutorials, I HOPE YOU ARE BACK SOON,,,,,,,I NEEN MY KATHERYN CLAY FIX FOR THE DAY.🤩🤩🤩🤩
Very pretty and you make it look so easy! I will try this one soon. Thank you much.
Beautiful and easy!
I really can't hear you I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but you're very talented.
Beautiful! Bit difficult working with the black clay on a black cutting mat!
What is the purpose of putting the acetone on the brush for resin? 🙂
to moisten the brush then it doesn't introduce bubbles
@@KathrynHalstead oh wow! Ok. Never heard that tip before. Thanks. I enjoy your Facebook Group also😊
Very beautiful 😍
Gorgeous❣️
Really lovely 😊💗👏🏻
Stunning pieces. Just so you know Ludmila from Sweet Bijou is Ukranian not Russian
hi Kathryn, just wondering where did you buy your blades, please???
mantra 2607 so sorry for the delay in replying. I use sculpey brand blades and my last set was cheapest on amazon x
@@KathrynHalstead Thanks Kathryn, ordered them on Amazon. Xx
Just curious…what’s the purpose of putting them on the black clay, when the other side is pretty, with same design?
The border does make it look nice.

Hi Kathryn New to polymer clay. Do you have a tutorial on how much clay to use for a pendant
Hi Maggie, its totally dependant on the thickness and size you want said pendant to be? my average is about 6mm thick ?
Thank you

Hi Kathryn what are the holders you are using?
Do you mean the little stands for resining? I just made them from scraps, my “let’s chat about” YTs show you how to make them x
